Cool, whatever gets you the right noise eh!

Have you kept the lakky stock or changed any bits matey? I know some have swapped all the electrics but I kinda like mine as is...
Mine is how it is..

I've got a couple older laklands, with Bartolini pickups.. and a couple newer with "lakland" pick ups which are actually made from Hanson guitars.. when they bought lakland a year or so ago.

but yeh on that vid im using a standard Skyline 55-01, love them!

Edit to say, I don`t actually care how live it is.
I personally think it`s harder swinging a click driven song, so kudos.

hey guys, have a new tune from the W3 album.. let me know what you think!

    Peace and grease

  7. yes jake!! nice one on the gaia..

if im honest.. Pop gigs nowadays dont come about unless you can play synth bass.. and also program/edit your own sounds.. to match the bass stems on the recoed..

The Roland Gaia is a great VA synth.. mono and polyphonic.. Little phatty is also a great 2 oscillator synth but a mono analog synth is going to have more depth with the sounds it creates.. than various VA's depends how specific you want to be.. with the sounds your creating..

and what your wanting to do with a synth..

but dont knock synth bass.. all of MJ, Prince.. and various Stevie wonder is all on synth..

its been pretty integral in the last 20/30 years to the development of bass playing, harmonically, melodically and sonically

  9.
I'll be 100% honest, I can't stand her recorded music but it was a really enjoyable performance - shame the bassplayer let the side down with a criminal lack of Fender action though :)
I am studying jazz at RWCMD but don't particularly find the course fulfilling the teachers are awesome, but there's no structure on the course and lessons are far and few. Anyone been to The Institute or have any experience with it? or recommend any other courses/colleges?
