This was on my board for a few years, never let me down but just fancied a change so I’ve got a boss chorus on the board now. The toneprint options make it a pretty versatile pedal, found myself mostly using the Duff McKagan toneprint. No original box for this unfortunately but will be packaged securely. Price includes postage in the UK, cheers

Got this in a trade on here recently but it’s just not got much use. Between the green Russian and the grey stache that I own I have my fuzz needs covered. This one is two big muffs running in parallel, one of them has a standard tone control, the other has a mid boost/cut. Certainly a lot to play with and a lot of sounds to be gotten out of it! No original box with this but will be packaged securely. Price will include postage in the UK

Bought this December 2023 with the intention of having a smaller bass to noodle on around the house and take to small gigs but I never really bonded with it. It’s a brilliant little bass that’s really well made and sounds great but I could just never really get on with the size, taking this as a sign that short scales just aren’t for me! I paid around £350 for the bass and £110 for the hard case so listing both for around £270. There’s a small scratch/chip/mark on the lower horn that I’ve tried to photograph best I can. Collection from Portsmouth or happy to meet within a reasonable distance, would prefer to avoid posting if possible. Cheers!

Only bought this a couple of weeks ago from another Basschat member, given it a run out at a couple of rehearsals but just isn’t my kind of sound so I’m listing it back up for what I paid for it. Rat based distortion with bass and treble eq controls, can do the lower gain thing but really shows what it can do at higher gain sounds. Price includes postage in the UK, cheers!

Been on my board for a year now, definitely one of those fattening up compressors that just make everything sound a little better. The chime knob is a pretty cool addition too allowing you to add or remove treble from your tone. They seem to get great reviews all round for just adding that little bit of magic something, it’s just taking up quite a bit of board space for me that I could find better uses for right now, and I definitely don’t want to get a bigger board just yet 😅 Price includes shipping in the UK

Orange OBC 115 - Price Now £100 - *SOLD*

Well despite my last price drop I’m going to open this up to offers around £100. It was being stored in my garage which has developed a leaky roof so I’ve brought it into the house. I don’t have the space to store this inside and I don’t want to see it get damaged and go to waste in the garage so I’d really rather somebody made some sort of use of it if possible! -

Another victim of my search for the perfect overdrive! One of the variants of the original BJFe Blueberry overdrive, does a great mild overdrive sound but ultimately just wasn’t quite my thing and was maybe slightly too mild for what I was looking for. One control says, ”The new One Control Blackberry Bass Overdrive hearkens back to the original BJFe Blueberry Bass Overdrive model, one of the classics from early BJFe production. This is a very light Overdrive pedal specifically designed for bass players (but also great on guitars) that helps one achieve a slightly overdriven and more present bass tone at any volume and with any amplifier” I’ve had it a month or so, it got Velcro stuck to the back and used for one rehearsal and since then it’s been in the box. I’ve toyed with keeping it just in case I ever need that light overdrive sound but I can’t justify having it laying it round unused. Price includes shipping in the UK, cheers! 🙂

Great fuzz pedal, had this on my board for quite a while as my main fuzz and always brought a smile to my face. It has really good low end retention that was always a sticking point with me with a lot of other fuzzes I tried. I toyed with the idea of keeping it around in case I ever wanted to throw it back on my board but I just can’t justify having it lying around unused at the moment so it’s got to go. Price includes shipping, will come with non original box.

Owned this cab for a fair while now, never let me down and as most people who’ve owned these will agree, they kick out an absolutely huge sound. It does have some scuffs and marks, and the cover is fairly torn up having been gigged a fair bit over the years, but nothing structurally damaging to the cab. Hoping I’ve reflected that in the price but if I’m way off the mark please do let me know. Hard to price these things! The only reason I’m selling is I’ve recently moved over to lighter weight amps, being a plasterer for a living hasn’t done my back any favours even at 33! Due to the size and weight I’d prefer collection or meeting within 30 minutes of Portsmouth. I have an amp head I can use to try this with if you’d like to test it first but that will also be going up for sale so may not still be here at the time. Feel free to send over any questions, cheers!

Originally based on the OCD overdrive circuit I believe but tuned for bass. Has a separate gain and drive control for sculpting the sound of your overdrive, can manage anything from low gain overdrive to some pretty fuzzed out high gain stuff. Has the gate switch which I believe also maxes out the gain but truth be told I haven’t spent much time playing with that part of the pedal. I only bought this from FX Pedal Planet in December 2023 so is fairly new but I’ve found my overdrive sound elsewhere (for now at least…) EDIT: turns out I do have the original box so will be posted out with that! Price included shipping

Had this bass for a year or so now but as much as I try to bond with it the stingray thing just isn’t for me. Turns out I’m a Jazz and P bass guy through and through! Been used at a handful of rehearsals, but mostly been in a case at home. It really is a beautiful bass and an incredibly comfortable and well built bass for the money. The dual pickups and 5 way selector gives it a lot of tonal options too. Currently strung up with Rotosound Nexus coated strings. Collection preferred on this, or willing to meet within 30 minutes or so of Portsmouth. Anyone wanting to try the bass is welcome to come and test it out before buying of course! I will also be selling a John East MMSR 2 band preamp separately on here that can be installed in the bass, if you want both we can sort some kind of deal out for the pair together. Feel free to drop me a message with any questions, cheers!

Finally getting around to selling some of my gear that just doesn’t get used so mostly sits gathering dust. I’ve tried to price these fairly but the truth is I hate selling things for fear of overpricing so if I’m way off the mark with anything just let me know! None of the pedals have original boxes and all have Velcro on the back. Prices include shipping in the uk. Everything else sold now, just the Spectracomp remaining! TC Electronic Spectracomp - £55 Great little bit of kit. One control knob but a lot of different compression presets available through the TonePrint app. Been on my board for a couple of years now and has never let me down, only selling as I’ve just fancied a change. Any questions or anything else at all just drop me a message, cheers!

Bought back in 2020 as a backup bass, but truth is it just doesn’t get any play time as my main bass is an MIA jazz bass. This is version 2 of the bass, it plays great, preamp with bass/mid/treble control, active/passive switch, quilted maple top, rolled fretboard edges. The bass is pretty much immaculate aside from some slight buckle rash on the back. Comes with the clear pick guard and chrome pickup cover, never been installed. I’ll throw a set of Rotosound Swing Bass I have laying around on it this evening. Any questions just send me a message, and of course welcome to come test the bass out before buying! Would prefer not to post, so collection from Portsmouth or willing to meet halfway. If I’ve missed out anything let me know, just quickly throwing this advert up whilst I’m at work 😄 cheers!
