I wanted to solicit some advice - I am considering buying a new bass. There are 2 going in my city that I am trying to decide between, and given my wife being understanding for this, buying both probably won't be an option
They are both fretless as I am wanting to venture in this direction.
Up for grabs are a Vintage Icon V74, Jaco-style, road-worn finish, for a (I think) pretty cheap price of $120.
The other is an Ibanez AFB200, for a relatively more expensive price of $310 as compared to the other.
I was wondering if anyone has experience with either of these and can give me some thoughts? I would really appreciate it - especially if there is the chance of hearing ideas quite quickly as I would probably need to decide relatively quickly in order not to lose out.
