Up for sale my beloved 1986 Warwick JD Thumb Bass previously owned by Van Morrison. This is one of the first Thumb basses ever made (No.18), Handcrafted in West Germany in 1986 back when Warwick only produced 30 a month! Solid three piece Boabinga Body, Thru Neck, Natural Finish and a real treat to play. The tone and build of this bass is incredible, all original electronics, frets, pickups, nut, bridge and furbishings. Cosmetically this bass has been well played over the years Had to replace 1 machine head and the 9V battery cover is missing (hence Price) but can replaced for £30 from the Wawrick website.
