Not sure of the total yet...trying to buy something else to ship it with as I can pretty much get two delivered for the same price as one.

Let's just hope you don't get stung with import duty, because that's another 20%. I've bought from Japan before, first time cleared customs no bother. 2nd time they got me. It's a lottery!

I d  love to have this ..but my 57 reissue Japanese Fender doesn't do back seat .. .. the only alternative would be a real 57 or one of they Fullerton jobs fae the eighties heard good things about those ..don't see them that much and when they do come up I cant put ma hands on 2K

it actually crossed my mind to rip oot the frets and go full circle as the Tokai I had was fretless..

Ha Ha, you wouldn't want to rip the frets out of this, that would be criminal, it's too nice! 👍🏻😉🤘

Something about that exact shade of white with the black guard is just so right

I agree it's a great colour, it took me a while to find this bass.

I don't gig anymore and have more basses than I need,  so she needs to go to someone who's gonna use it. 👍🏻

What's the neck profile like on these things and would you be willing to post to London?

The neck profile is typical P bass with a 42mm nut. Not too much of a handful but not too skinny like a jazz. The fingerboard edged are nicely rolled and very comfortable. No fret wear at all. A superb example of a great bass.

Yes I would courier to London.

    Cheers..... Mario

Already googled! 😁😁 and, it seems tokai have no structure to their serials which make dating a non exact science!

Basically, if its one specific year, then I'd be buying it, for the whole 'year of birth' thing!

Ahh got you. I know it's defo 83 or 84, I'm leaning more to 84. Sorry can't be more precise.  👍🏻

The neck on this looks incredible!

The neck IS incredible, the flames go on forever. And it plays and sounds every bit as good as it looks. 👍🏻

I've um"d and ah'd about selling it over the last couple of years,  now I need the cash, so hey ho, lets go! 👌

  7. American Vintage Reissue 62 stack knob Jazz 2004

This bass is in amazing condition, it looks like brand new. The flame on the back of the neck and the headstock is incredible. You would swear this is a custom shop bass. It sounds and plays amazingly, as you would expect. I had the bridge swapped for a hipshot high mass vintage bridge, comes with original. Everything that this bass came with the day it came out of the shop is still with it. All case candy, hang tags, bridge and pickup covers, strap, lead even the string mutes. The case has never left my house, still has plastic on locks. I've recorded with this bass and used it at rehearsals a few times over the years, but never gigged it, it's just too precious.

Anyways I need to sell some gear as I've just way too much, and this bass deserves bettet than just being stuck under the bed.

Any questions give me a shout.

    Cheers..... Mario.

Ahhhhh. The “She Sells Sanctuary” bass. Well that’s what Jamie Stewart from The Cult (name drop) told me many moons ago. Reason enough to buy one of these. Go listen again to the track and tell me I’m not wrong! Ignore the Musicman in the video nonsense ( mutters to himself I don’t need a Precision etcetc) 😀GLWTS

I just heard it played on the radio yesterday and thought wow, not heard it for ages, that's an awesome tune!

    Cheers man! 👍🏻

  9. Warwick Fortress One.

    SOLD
    Built in Germany 90's
MEC active PJ config, Wenge neck.
Bass has been gigged and shows some signs of age but nothing to worry about. Plays and sounds amazing, a true rock monster. Comes in battered old case, which is nothing to look at but does the job and protects the bass.
    A true vintage beauty!

    Early 80's built in Japan.
This bass is in beautiful condition. One of the best playing/sounding precision basses I have ever played. The tuners have been upgraded to Wilkinson vintage style tuners, and fitted with a Hipshot B style aluminium bridge. This thing never goes out of tune.
Comes with semi hard flight case and original bridge and tuners.
