Hello. I'm selling a guitar and I've been offered a trade of a '72 Orange GRO100 head. Some of these were built by Matamp, just trying to corroborate a few details to see if the one offered to me is of Matamp origin. I was wondering if anyone has any experience of these heads with a bass guitar & bass cab? I've heard they're very loud, so a 100W rating at clean guitar volume maybe? Pretty hefty looking transformers leads me to thinking it'd translate to bass pretty well, depending on how the EQ is tuned. There doesn't seem to be any videos of them on YouTube either. Here's a picture of what they look like, I hadn't heard of them until the offer.
