1. THIS HAS NOW BEEN SOLD For sale - a very reluctant sale - my awesome MusicMan Sterling Bass guitar - for sale for £900 with hard case PLEASE NOTE: This is NOT the cheaper 'Sterling by MusicMan' range that they now produce - annoyingly they gave a cheaper range of guitars a similar name. This is the full and proper Sterling Bass, made in the USA, that RRPs for around £1700 Bought around 2010 I have gigged this amazing guitar a few times, and I absolutely love it, but as I am moving abroad I need to get rid of some gear Black finish, white scratch guard, and rose wood neck. This one was made to my specification directly from the factory in California, and includes a dual humbucker pickup arrangement that is pretty rare, and kicks out some amazing power! The two pickup arrangement, combined with an active 3 band preamp, and a five way pickup switch give an unbelievable range of tones and sounds. The switch gives you a great combination of either playing both coils from a pickup together, or combining different coils from each pickup in parallel. Which I think gives it the edge over the other single HS and H arrangements that are possible. Check out the schematics here This has to be the smoothest and nicest neck to play from any bass I have ever played. It is thinner than the Stingray neck, giving you a more Jazz bass feel to it, great if you want a bit more reach and I think this makes it a faster neck to play. I love the action as well, great for fast finger style or punchy hard attacking riffs, must be played to be appreciated and happy to give you a demo if you are in the London area. Condition wise it is almost perfect - I cannot find a scratch or a dent on it - It's been my pride and joy and is very well looked after. See the full spec here http://www.music-man...s/sterling.html Bass comes with strap and original bomb proof Music Man flight case Prefer pick up or local delivery in London area, but will consider posting if required
