  1. Line 6 Pod HD and floorboard for sale. Excellent quality amp modeller, with some pretty cool effects as well (the particle verb is divine!). The guitar amp models are just brilliant, and it works great as a USB audio interface as well. The floorboard can also work as a USB midi floor pedal as well. Based in Cardiff if collecting, or can post.

Let me know if you have any questions!

    Ta for looking!

  2. I played one in a shop yesterday for 10 mins or so. It felt lovely - really liked the neck! But it was a noisy shop through an amp I'm unfamiliar with - it actually sounded pretty good despite this, but I would like to demo another in better conditions before I take the plunge. Ideally I would want it to replace my Mexican precision which nails the sound I want, but for some reason i've never really gelled with the bass itself.

  3. Had a question via pm about how the Strymon chorus sounds on bass. Thought I would post up a quick and dirty demo comparing both of the chorus pedals I have for sale.

Playing a Fender P with flats straight into my DAW (Reason), no compression or anything. Played with a pick to make the chorus sound a bit more obvious. The first bit is the Strymon, the second the MXR.

    Apologies for crap playing etc.

  4. Ah, sorry didn't realise there was a bass version. This is the guitar version, which I guess would sound pants on a bass. Maybe I should try it...

If it's the bass version I'll take this off your hands!

Cheers fella. I'm only in Neath. Do you have a store in Cardiff?

I don't have a store, just a living room with a bass in it. Serious offer though - if you want to try it out, see how it sounds, you'd be welcome to pop in. Its connected up to a Barefaced Super Twin, and sounds bloody marvellous to these ears.

  6. Hi, and welcome to Basschat!

Its the Big Muff with Tone Wicker. The tone knob makes it much more usable in my opinion - you don't have to suck all the mids out of your tone if you don't want to!

I am happy to post, so PM me if you're interested.

  7. Sure - thats the internet for you. Mine works like I expected it to, so nothing to shout about. There does seem to have been lots of people having bad experiences, so I could have just been lucky I guess.

If you are passing Cardiff at any time, you'd be welcome to pop in and have a play with mine!
