Enthusiastic bass player wanted to join flute/alto sax, guitar and drums rehearsing at South Ormsby twice monthly. We play jazz standards, bossas, etc with a view to gigging when the opportunity arises. Acoustic bass preferred. I'm getting together a four piece comprising tenor sax, guitar, bass and drums to play some nice laid back jazz standards and latin bossas. We have a rehearsal facility not too far from Louth. Mature guitarist accompanying female vocalist/saxophonist looking for a like minded bass player to play swinging jazz standards, ballads and cool latin. At the moment we rehearse once weekly and then perform fortnightly at the jazz club at Alford. We are keen to do the odd gig but essentially we enjoy what we play and there must surely be a keen bassist who would like to join us.
