Just bought a 2x12 cab from Paul, absolute pleasure to deal with and another credit to Basschat!

Early 90’s (1992 I think) Ampeg 810E, amazing condition and far too nice to be dragged around the country in the back of a Transit - that honour rests with my other ‘dog of war’ 8x10. Looking at a ‘92 price list these were c.£880 back then.
I bought this from its original owner a few months ago - looks all original (rear and side skids added by him), fully functional and is familiarly heavy - happy for potential buyer to test here.
£600 or offers can potentially meet for fuel costs etc.

Those upside-down pictures though
And that headstock design.
And that price!
Each to their own and that, but yes, I agree with you on all those points !Still a quality piece of gear.

Dan Armstrong plexi/lucite replica.
It’s there or thereabouts and probably weighs the equivalent of an 8x10 on your shoulder, but it’s still a cool looking thing!

Guitar Guitar being overly generous with a discounted damaged Sterling SUB StingRay.

Seems optimistically priced…?!!

Wouldn't it be more authentic (for the masses) if this was issued left handed only ?!!

Just wanted to say that I was lucky enough to see Duck play in 1993 with Booker T/Stevie C, can’t say which bass he was using - but to this day he remains such an overwhelming influence on how I approach a P bass! RIP DDD.

I was under the impression that the current Les Paul Jr Tribute DC Bass used a single extended range TB pick-up, I may be wrong!
-
Didn’t he use an Alembic with Dexys ?!!
Always thought it looked slightly odd amongst the dungarees (but, check the boss version of ‘There There My Dear’ on YT somewhere)…class.
