Unfortunately I don’t have a case for the bass, so collection from Winchester would be ideal, or I’d be happy to meet / deliver within 40 miles.

Hi all,

Up for sale is my lovely Fender JMJ Road Worn Mustang. Unfortunately due to a big car bill I've had to put this up, so ideally I won't be considering any trades.

The bass is currently strung with D'addario tapewounds, however I also have a set of flatwounds which I can include with the bass. 

It plays absolutely beautifully and sounds really great; very fat round tone but plenty of bite if you need it too.

Comes with a gig bag.

Collection from Winchester, I'd prefer not to post it as I only have a soft case for the bass but I'm sure I could sort something if needs be.

Up for sale is my lovely Fender Nate Mendel precision p bass. These have proven really popular as a fantastic high quality instrument.

I have swapped out the Seymour Duncan Quarter Pounder which comes stock for an Aguilar AG4P 60’s pickup. I’ve recently had the bass serviced and setup with a brand new set of D’addario Chrome Flatwounds. 

The bass itself is in fairly well used condition, with a few more dings and scrapes than it left the factory with, however it is worth baring in mind these are ‘road worn’ with an already thin nitrocellulose lacquer finish. 

This is an instrument with some serious mojo and punch, plays excellently and gives you so much beefy tone! 

Collection from Winchester or buyer pays postage. Includes original fender gig bag.

I've had it with flats on for a while and hate to keep changing between flats and rounds..

So I suppose I've answered my own question there! 😄

I currently have a Nate Mendel P that is working great for me - I've replaced the Seymour Duncan QP's for Aguilar 60s pickups, and replaced the badass II with a BBOT vintage style fender bridge.
Strung up with flats it's great for that dead, thumpy sound, but I still miss having the sheen of rounds for pick playing and slapping ..

What does everyone think about having two of the "same" type of bass?
How do you justify it to yourself that you 'need' another?
