Hi all, Reaching out in desperation here :-) I bought a Musicmaster this week, all original parts and plays like a dream. It's just a few cosmetic and non critical parts that I need. Due to the bass having all original parts and me being a fastidious so and so I would ideally like parts from the same model of bass from the same era ie. 1978 1. First on my list of requirements is a screw and washer for one of the machineheads. Second on my list is, the screws that hold the pickguard/scratch plate. The threads have gone :-( 3. Third and finally, I need a screw for the thumb rest attached to the pickguard. This screw is quite small. Any advice on my quest would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Clinton

I bought a bass already!!! Need a few original bits and pieces for it though, so going to start a post in the 'Items Wanted' section. Just a few screws and some other stuff, to get the bass back to it's best. It's a MusicMaster '78. People have said that it sounds thin and the pickup is a guitar pickup but I have to say that it sounds amazing and quite unique. :-)

Hi all, Just a quick hello. I'm on the lookout to buy a bass. I used to play over 20 years ago, a beautiful Stingray but sold it to get some money. Bad decision :-) I am now just getting back into playing and going to sift through the forums to get some advice. CD
