Hey everyone, a bass playing mate of mine suggested posting here and I've seen a few ads for drummers so I thought I'd give it a whirl. I'm looking to join a band (covers but will consider originals too) to have some fun and gig fairly regularly. I like rock - Pearl Jam, Led Zep, Rage Against the Machine, Audioslave, Nirvana, the Foos, Queens of the Stone Age.....and on and on - but I also like to play blues, funk, soul.....basically any cracking songs that'll get people going! I'm 32, have been playing for about 3 and a half years and am grade 5 standard (not that that matters particularly, I'm just trying to give an idea of my ability). I was in a covers band for a couple of years so I have played in front of real people. I think I have a good ear and usually pick stuff up pretty quickly, I'm reliable and will put the effort in, and I have a car so I can get my kit wherever it needs to be.
