40 year old bassist from the West Mids, been bassing for about 4 years now, playing every week at my local church. Playing a late eighties / early nineties Vester J-Bass of uncertain history and dodgy condition and looking to get myself a "proper" bass!
Growing up listening to music in the 80s, wanted to be a bassist, bought an acoustic guitar to "learn" on, got sidetracked into 6 strings, and didn't properly start bass until my late thirties. So it took me a while, but I got there eventually.... trying now to make up for lost time...
