  1. Yeah I saw that one, but that is fretted. Initially I was thinking the £1200 mark, when released these had an RRP of £2000 (ish) Now they are rare and out of circulation. @PhilW : I do have pics can upload soon, (just can't get them off my phone atm) Thanks again.
  2. Thanks guys, and @ Tractor, I do get to play a lot of lovely basses during work time .... and get paid for it, so hold it against me all you like, I can handle it
  3. Hello All I am the proud owner of a 5 String Fretless Tacoma Thunderchief. Unfortunately I am having to sell it. I love it but it's the bass I play the least. I cannot find another one out there in the interweb, so knowing how much they are worth is tough. I know they are highly regarded, and found some reviews but to get a price is tough. It has the Fishman preamp and has fret lines. It's it immaculate condition, and hardly played (i'm predominantly a 4 stringer) Comes with a Tacoma fitted/fur-lined hard case (this does show signs of wear) Any advice would be greatly appreciated. The only advice I have had is from a dealer who said "not interested as these are very specialised instruments" ...not very helpful really. Thanks in advance
  4. Welcome, though I do like a little slap..... if I deserve it of course

Hi I'm Matt (SaulGuud), Though I've been a stalker of the site, I thought i'd join in the discussions and sign up. I've been playing bass since '91. Started with a punk band and progressed through everything from hair-rock to jazz/funk. I injured my fretting hand badly in 2000 and had to redirect my love for music and did a degree in music production. Proceeded to release music under various guises on 13 independent record labels, as well as live/studio engineering/recording. Now my wrist is better I am playing bass again. It's like coming home after an around the world musical journey of discovery. I am truly blessed to now work for Fender Europe doing design and marketing, so I may be a little biased here and there. But all my views on here are personal and not that of Fender. Basses I own: USA Fender Jazz 4 String, Fender GB-41SCE EAB 4 String, Fretless German Warwick Corvette 4 String. 5 String Fretless Tacoma Thunderbird AEB, & my beloved modified Silver Series Squire P-bass (my 1st bass that sounds and plays amazing) (Adding a MIJ Fender '66 Jazz Bass Olympic White very soon) Amps I use: SWR and Trace
