Thanks guys. I feel most welcome. Yes Bert it is a Vester Clipper 5 string (thanks for the thread) my cousin had a 4 string way back and this 5 string came up on ebay so I remembered how good they were. I've always fancied a 5 string and now I have one.

Hi Folks. New to Bass Chat. I've been playing on and off for about 18 years. The last year has seen me seriously return to playing/rehersals. I play a 1983 Ibanez Musician fretted, Vester 5 string and Cort Fretless. I am also in two bands. A rock band playing anything from Coldplay to Jamiroquai. The Jazz band is a very recent thing with gigs lined up for next year. Oh...and I teach a little in my spare time...lol
