  7. Any idea what that means in terms of bass compatibility? I'm thinking about screw holes...
  8. Apologies if this is a daft question. My late-80s StingRay has a detuner. It's a good match for the other three (original) tuners in terms of styling and ageing, but it's marked Fender. I can't quite square that up. Was there a period when Fender and Musicman tuners were virtually identical? [attachment=138651:stingraytunersE1.jpg]
