  1. I'm moving to a rack based system so I'm selling this fantastic pedal. Great Ampeg clone tone from these industry-standard pedals and some awesome extra features like speaker cabinet simulation circuit for use as a DI, +10 dB level boost switch for use with power amps (nice touch), -20 dB cut on XLR if the DI signal is too hot for the desk, phantom power and ground connect switch (another nice touch!) and Bite switch for added top end sizzle. As you turn the character knob clockwise, you go from 70s SVT, through B15 flip-top all the way to modern razor fuzz with the knob turned all the way up. This control coupled with the drive control allows you to dial in anything from a touch of added tube warmth to all out sonic warfare! The blend control allows you to mix the original bass signal with the effected Sansamp tone and an active 3 band EQ adds the finishing touch to your tone. Excellent condition. 9V 500mA included. Check out the Tech 21 website for sound clips, operating manual and full specs. Postage fully insured for £10.

  3. This is an awesome pedal with so many great features incorporating the actual preamp circuit from the SVT amp with the classic EQ and ultra low and ultra high switches. The pedal also has the Scrambler overdrive circuit with the essential blend control so you can blend the overdriven sound with the original bass sound. The preamp also doubles as a practice amp and in-ear or headphone amp with aux in on quarter inch and mini jack with level control and a mini jack headphone out. So you can plug your phone into the pedal and practice in silence. The sound quality of the headphone amp is absolutely fantastic too - massive bottom end. It's a great live pedal too with a lovely sounding DI out with ground lift and there's a -15dB input pad using an internal jumper for hot basses. Bizarrely they don't come with a power supply and eat through batteries, so I bought a new 12V 500 mA power supply for £20 as recommended by Polar Audio who distribute Ampeg which suits the pedal really well and gives it noticeably more headroom than with a 9V.

I've used the pedal on stage as a preamp in front of my valve head and DI'd to the desk, as a recording preamp DI'd to an interface monitoring the track on headphones through the pedal and as a practice amp and it genuinely excels each time. I've been totally satisfied with the tone of the SCR DI and it certainly gets pretty darn close to the on-the-edge sound of an cranked SVT, then with the scrambler engaged you can get pretty savage drive out of it too. It's housed in a heavy-duty metal enclosure and feels totally solid under foot. Excellent condition and comes with power supply and original packaging. Manual available at http://www.ampeg.com/pdf/manuals/SCR-DI_OM.pdf Can post for £10 fully insured.

  5. Excellent example of these much sought-after basses manufactured in the San Luis Obispo factory in California, USA. Launched in 2003 featuring a solid poplar slab body (instead of ash) and a more economical textured finish with a black painted maple neck but the same hardware, pickup and 2-band active circuit as the Stingray, they were famously discontinued in 2005 after they proved so popular that sales of the Stingray were starting to fall. This one is in fantastic condition and sounds great both acoustically and plugged in. Really resonant with great sustain and that classic 2-band growl when you dig in at the bridge. It has a little nick out the the top of the headstock and another on the back lower bout near the battery compartment (see pics). Feels as solid as a rock and never goes out of tune. The textured blue finish is really nice as it's started to go a bit green like an old Lake Placid Blue Fender - looks so sweet and you can see the original blue under the guard! I changed the pickguard for a three ply gloss black (original thin diamond plate guard included). I'm down in St Agnes in Cornwall but I can easily get the bass up to my parents' house near Bath if that's easier. Currently has a cheapo Stagg gig bag. Shipping is certainly possible - it'd be best to take the neck off, then pack it along with the body. That way, there's absolutely no risk of damage in transit.

  6. Here's a link to the page with manual and specs.

    http://traynoramps.com/legacy/discontinued/product/dynabass_800h/

And some forum reviews... (not my opinions!)

    https://www.talkbass.com/threads/traynor-db800h-tc115-x2-mini-review.627371/

I've got the original box as well so I can ship it within the UK. It'll be around £45 though as its heavy at 23kg including the flightcase.

  7. Made in Canada with huge transformers and top quality components. Extremely versatile and powerful. Runs speakers down to 2 ohms for multi speaker rigs. This amp has so much clean headroom where necessary but also has a switchable 12AX7 valve distortion channel with blend control to retain clean bass punch. Preamp can be switched from solid state to valve. Built in compression and resonance control to dial in feel from baggy to tight trouser flapping. Comes with touring grade 3U flight case. 23kg. Great 5 band EQ with parametric mid and scoop control. The best non-tube bass amp I’ve ever used but I’ve just bought a tube head so has to go. This 800 watt solid state head feels so much more powerful than the class D lightweights I’ve used and it’s definitely far more reliable. Check out the manual online for more spec and read the rave reviews. This was Traynor’s flagship bass amp and retailed at over £1000. In excellent condition. Happy to discuss postage or meeting up somewhere.
