1. *SOLD* 1989 Ibanez SR800 MIJ Custom Made Pickguard EMG X PJ + Preamp Controls, P Vol, J Vol, Master Vol, Tone Gotoh tuners Gotoh 'Omni' bridge Just been setup, frets polished and electrics check. Very good condition for 29 years old, some small marks here and there. Plays lovely, versatile tones, very lightweight, low action, straight neck, very quiet electronics, Slim Jazz width neck. Pics show bass with Schaller strap locks but I do have the original ones. Collect from Biggleswade, Beds area.
2. *WITHDRAWN* ZOOT ICENI CUSTOM 5 I think this is probably an earlier Zoot from the 90's (although don't hold me to that), as the style and build suggests it having seen a few other Zoots online to compare. All Schaller hardware, Bartolini J pickups and Bartolini NTMB preamp. Controls, Vol, Vol, (mute/kill switch for each PU individually, very handy), Mid with a pull boost, and bass/treb on a stacked knob. It has a custom made detachable thumb rest you will see in most of the pics, not used by me but comes with it. Mahogany body, quilt maple top with a sandwich of what looks like Ash and walnut? Seven piece Mahogany/Maple neck with birdseye FB with thin inlaid stripe both sides. Few little dings here and there as would be expected as it's been played a lot, but its actually very good indeed for its age. Honestly though, this plays so nicely with a really great neck and really low action all the way up the neck, playability being excellent! IF YOU PLAY WITH A FAST LIGHT TOUCH AND LIKE A LOW ACTION ON YOUR BASSES, THIS WILL BE UP YOUR STREET! I'm based near Biggleswade, Beds BTW and would prefer collection as it can be viewed in the flesh then too, although can arrange courier for UK mainland delivery.
3. *WITHDRAWN* HANDMADE CUSTOM 'FODERA STYLING' - (**NOTE NOT A REAL FODERA)! Here we have a quite beautiful one off 2007 custom made bass, styled as you can clearly see on a Fodera Monarch, with an extra cutaway for higher fret access. I think according to the paperwork I got with the bass it has had some PU, Preamp and bridge upgrades from the originally made instrument. Alder body, burst gloss finish Three piece maple neck, gloss Quilt maple facing on headstock All Schaller hardware (M type tuners, 2000 bridge) EMG MM/J pickups East UNI Pre preamp (18v active/passive) ORIGINAL PAPERWORK WITH BASS FROM PREVIOUS OWNER REGARDING ORIGINS AND BUILD. I purchased the bass about a year or so ago from The Bass Gallery in Camden for £1000. It was custom made for a previous owner by Howard Satterley (The Bass Doctor) according to The Bass Gallery, the Bass Doc being a very well known and highly respected Luthier from the north of England who I believe is/was a member here on this very forum. Perhaps somebody here might even recognise this bass? It is really lovely to play, well balanced and very lightweight at under 9lb, the neck is fabulous being Jazz width with a bit more chunk in the hand. All kinds of tones can be coaxed out of this bass, it's very versatile and has that 'handmade' unique feel that only real one off custom made basses have. Condition is very good, it has the odd mark here and there but it's really good overall, I've taken a lot of pics here that show it off well from several angles. I'm offering it on here at a very low £750.00, I think we all know how much having a totally one off instrument like this built completely by hand might cost these days, so if you're that way inclined, you will probably get what it's about and that this is a real bargain! So to be completely clear it's NOT A REAL FODERA, although that should be pretty obvious by now, but it is a beautifully made one off custom bass. IF YOU PLAY WITH A FAST LIGHT TOUCH AND LIKE A LOW ACTION ON YOUR BASSES, THIS WILL BE UP YOUR STREET! I'm based near Biggleswade, Beds BTW and would prefer collection as it can be viewed in the flesh then too but can arrange to be sent if required, (UK mainland only)

9. *Withdrawn* EDEN METRO COMBO 400w 2x10 (DC210XLT) £425.00 http://www.edenamps.com/assets/4012.058_dc210xltmetro-2006.pdf Nice condition, looked after! On wheels with dust cover (dust cover for Eden 4x10 cab but fits OK) Best live bass sound I ever had out of any amp...and I've had many (yes really, hand on heart the truth) I'm selling up as I'm packing up playing live due to a long term shoulder injury hence the sale. I'm based near Biggleswade, Beds BTW and would prefer collection as it can be viewed in the flesh then too. ** FYI I also have four handmade custom type basses for sale on here at the links below, all four basses are offered up here on BC at £750 each, which I think is very low money for what they really are. It would be easy to find far lesser basses than these at much more money online. https://www.basschat.co.uk/topic/320306-fodera-style-handmade-bass/ https://www.basschat.co.uk/topic/320304-valenti-j4/ https://www.basschat.co.uk/topic/320303-paulman-j6-custom/ https://www.basschat.co.uk/topic/320300-zoot-iceni-custom-top-5/

So to be completely clear it's NOT A REAL FODERA, that should be pretty obvious by now, but if you like that king of styling along with it being a one off pro hand built bass, you will probably really like it? I'm selling up as I'm packing up playing live due to a long term shoulder injury and I only really need one bass. Nice Eden Metro 2x10 combo for sale here too. https://www.basschat.co.uk/topic/320325-eden-metro-combo-2x10/ I also have three other handmade custom type basses for sale on here at the links below, (links to follow), all four basses are offered up here on BC at £750 each, which I think is very low money for what they really are. Lovely bass to play, light weight and well balanced with nice big Jazz Bass tones from the Nordstrand Big Singles and a very nice slap tone. It has Nordstrand Big Singles, Aguilar OBP-1 Preamp w/VTC (Sadowsky) (18v). Really nice condition, nothing much to say really, a few surface scuffs from popping but that's really it. I haven't gigged it and to be honest I don't think the guy before me did either according to the shop, it's in really great shape. I'm selling up as I'm packing up playing live due to a long term shoulder injury and I only really need one bass. 12. *SOLD* PAULMAN J6 CUSTOM - HANDMADE BASS £750 Here we have a Paulman custom J6 handmade one off 6 string Jazz style bass, made by the late great Paul Mcnab of Huddesfield. Custom handmade bass Ash body / Flame maple carved top Birds eye maple neck Ebony fingerboard with custom inlays Bone nut Schaller hardware (bridge and machine-heads) Delano SB pickups ACG - EQ2 filter based preamp with passive control (similar to Alembic filter preamp) Weight 12lb Originally made as a 5 string, the bass has been professionally converted to a 6 as the neck width and general vibe of the bass allowed it to be so, in fact it asked for it to be so! It has made it into an awesome J6 tbh! It's a bit heavy for long gigs at around 12lb but if that is not a major concern for you, read on... Originally purchased from Bass Direct a couple of years ago this bass would suit a 6 player who likes a more narrow string spacing, it's 15 - 16mm. It has loads of tone as you'd expect from a huge lump of wood and a filter based preamp and also has a nice bright acoustic tone too. 13. *WITHDRAWN* ZOOT ICENI CUSTOM 5 £750.00 I think this is probably an earlier Zoot from the 90's (although don't hold me to that), as the style and build suggests it having seen a few other Zoots online to compare. I believe Mike Walsh is the Zoot man and there is a lot of love for him from people who play these, and rightly so! All Schaller hardware, Bartolini J pickups and Bartolini NTMB preamp. Controls, Vol, Vol, (mute/kill switch for each PU individually, very handy actually), Mid with a pull boost, and bass/treb on a stacked knob. Probably weighs between 9 and 10lb, my scales have gone kaput so I'm kinda guessing but I've had a lot of basses that I did know the weight of so I think I'm about right pitching it at that... Few little dings here and there as would be expected as it's been played a lot, but its actually very good indeed for its age, it has also IMHO benifitted from being played a lot as it has a nice 'played in' feel to it. Honestly though, this plays so nicely with a really great neck and really low action all the way up the neck, playability and feel is as good if not better than a lot of very exotic high end basses I've played and to me even has a nice 'rounded vintagy' feel to it in the hands. 14. Iceni Zoot (Pro 5 Custom Top) Handmade in Essex, England! **,Now sold** (planning to list this elsewhere this week also) ** I apologise for the confusion with this listing as some of you will know that I have put it up briefly before, I've unfortunately been let down TWICE by a buyer who said they wanted it then couldn't get the money together, no third chances I'm afraid! ** I didn't buy this new myself but from my research I've done I think it's probably an earlier Zoot from the 90's (although don't hold me to that), as the style and build suggests it having seen a few other Zoots online to compare. I believe Mike Walsh is the Zoot man and there is a lot of love for him from people who play these, and rightly so! Schaller hardware, Bartolini pickups and Bartolini NTMB preamp. I'm selling as I have another handmade bass (RJB Guitars) that was made for me a few years back and after having sooo many basses I'm going to try my best at just having one bass! (I know...good luck with that!) IF YOU PLAY WITH A FAST LIGHT TOUCH AND LIKE A LOW ACTION ON YOUR BASSES, THIS WILL BE UP YOUR STREET! Please let me know if there is any love here for this on BC? It's a lovely high end bass at I think very sensible money... I'm based near Biggleswade, Beds BTW and would prefer collection as it can be viewed in the flesh then too. Let me know what you think...
15. **SOLD...AGAIN** Iceni Zoot (Pro 5 Custom Top) Handmade in Essex, England! ** I thought I'd sold this and took it down a few days ago, turns out my buyer can't get the funds together (fair enough), so with his agreement I'm offering it for sale again ** I didn't buy this new myself but from my research I've done I think it's probably an earlier Zoot from the 90's (although don't hold me to that), as the style and build suggests it having seen a few other Zoots online to compare. 17. Offered for sale is my complete TC Rig. (RH450, 2 x RS112 and RC4 Pedal) - NOW SOLD The complete rig is for sale at the price of £950.00. I might split it but will see what interest there is first, much prefer to sell it as a whole lot but lets see how it goes. I think new the rig would be around £1500. The amp and pedal have never seen active duty, I purchased them from Coda Music in Stevenage, Herts in September this year, the head was an ex-demo unit from the shop floor, and the RC4 pedal new off the shelf. I've not gigged either of them. The pedal is as new and has only been used in my house a couple of times and includes the box and MIDI lead, the head has a couple of small nics in the casing which it had upon purchase (see pics), but apart from that is unmarked (no box or case with it). The RS112 cabs I got from Bass Direct used, also only a few months ago. They are both in really good condition with only a couple of signs of use. I've not gigged these either! I do gig BTW but always seem to revert to my Eden Metro Combo tbh. One of the rs112 cabs didn't work when I first got it, upon further investigation it was found that the main driver had gone (screw in tweeter still worked ok though), so I had the driver replaced with an Eminence Beta 12A which is the right unit as it has the exact same code printed on the cone as the original TC Eminence driver had. I decided not to replace the driver with a tweeter loaded one as I intended to use the rig as pictured with the other cab so figured I only needed one tweeter loaded cab, it's pretty much same as a TC RS212 in this setup with just one of the12's sporting a tweeter, not both. The tweeter-less cab is lighter as a result and actually sounds better to my ears when solo'd... (bit warmer). I also have a spare Eminence Beta12A (non tweeter) too and also the screw in tweeter from the original cab which as mentioned still works. I also have a couple of Speakon cables. If you buy the whole rig at £950.00 these will all be included! Collection will be from Biggleswade, Beds area. I'm not here much in the week (work), I'm only around at weekends and occasional evenings currently.
18. Fabulous Valenti J4 #70 for sale at Musicstreet guitar shop in Huntingdon, Cambs. 01480 431222. The bass is mine, I'm selling it through the shop. Please contact the shop if interested. £999 but will listen to sensible offers. https://musicstreet.co.uk/collections/used-guitars-uk/products/used-valenti-vintage-j4-70
19. Cheers all! Bass is now sold off forum. Thanks for your interest.
20. Hi binky bass, thanks. Yes it plays really nice actually, very low action! The saddles are all mobile on the Schaller 2000 bridge so could actually be moved in a smidge if required...does play nice though. I'm selling as it's not getting used. I'm not really a 6'er tbh...
21. Here we have a Paulman custom J6 string handmade 6 string Jazz style bass, made by the late great Paul Mcnab of Huddesfield. Originally made as a 5 string, the bass has been professionally converted to a 6 as the neck width and general vibe of the bass allowed it to be so, in fact it asked for it to be so! It has made it into an awesome J6! It's a bit heavy at around 12lb but if that is not a major concern for you, read on... One think to say is the truss rod can vibrate a wee bit sometimes, I had it checked out and all is well, you can only hear it occasionally when playing unplugged. Tweak the truss rod a nats smidge and it goes. Condition is fair, it did have a harder life before I got it so it does show quite a few marks, more on the back though so not so bad... I'll get some pics up of everything as soon as I can. Collection with cash only as I like buyers to see basses like this first. Collection from Biggleswade, Beds area. Specs below. Custom made bass Ash body / Flame maple carved top Birds eye maple neck Ebony fingerboard with custom inlays Bone nut Schaller bridge and machineheads Delano SB pickups ACG - EQ2 filter based preamp with passive control Weight 12lb! **Lots more pics to follow BTW, I'm having an issue uploading at the moment**
