Jeez dude, you have too much time on yer hands.....Talkbass, Ozzbass and now basschat! When do you fit the actual bass playing in?

I can count this as research right -
It might be a problem as a low B is 30.85 Hz and I think the thumpinator cuts at 30 so if your dropping down to C = uh oh

The sound of the OC-2 is second to none, but it's something of an anomaly, it's popularity and status is kind of self propogating. Think about it, if Boss released a brand new Octave pedal that didn't track very well, couldn't handle chords, glitched out on long notes, and one of it's only 3 controls was almost completely unusable, people would slate it.

All true, but the your opening line trumps all. I love my oc 2, sure I can't play it down low and yeah its staccato or not at all but the sound the sound. -

Pedals are usually coming and going but a wishlist for future gear would be another DHA VT2 want to upgrade from my std, SFX micro thumpinator, prunes and custard, pickle pie b, and SWR IOD to go with the power 750 I'm fixing up
Hope I can both pickup a few things from you guys and have something to contribute in the forums
Cheers Bryce

I run mine after a VT2 if its on the VT is on otherwise the tracking is poo or it won't trigger at all. I like to have synth up front because its synthesising its own tone regardless of the effect going into it. also it can sound great with a bit of octave, distortion, filter and or chorus after it
