Rumbled. That's what I use.

Sometimes when I'm led in bed at night, I think about this.
I've been playing for 38 years now and have reached a certain level on the instrument.
I think to myself if i had practiced ruthlessly, every single day, putting in 6 plus hours, not just doing what i fancy, but laser focused, structured learning, only stopping for eating and sleeping, how much quicker could i have got to the same level?
I come up with something around 6 to 9 months.
Feel depressed that i could of reclaimed 37 years of my life, and go back to counting sheep instead.

Well I'm very much a rookie and not seen any of the ones I have struggled with here and so will stay quiet about most of them!
That said a largely simple song - all right now - has an instrumental section that has a bar of standard fingering in the money zone followed by a jump to right up near the bridge with the open A played with the thumb, repeated over and over. Getting the notes in the right order and close to on time, just needs tidying up now!
That's worrying. I just instantly looked at the tab you posted and thought that's Alright Now.
I think i may of wasted my life.

Yes i wouldn't of thought it was possible for anyone to play to a technical level of a Neil Peart and sing at the same time. And have one of the best female rock voices....
And possess some incredible material. "War" the obvious example. A top ten song written in any genre of music.

What i always find is when I'm trying to figure out a tricky section, is i play and fail 20/30 odd times. Put down the instrument and sleep/forget it.
Over the course of the nights sleep or day of not playing, the pathways if that's the right word get rewired.
I pick up the bass and i can do it.
How all that happens i have no idea.
Maybe i just need a good nights kip hahha

Extra 50 quid from me if you finish with a Carpenters medley.

Yep still think about the one i wasn't quick enough to buy a few years back. Although it wasn't sold on here, it was bought by someone here.
Just the nicest looking musical instrument i have ever seen. Only surpassed by Rory Gallagher's strat for beauty.
To ease the pain I employed someone to build a copy for me. Which is amazing and i love it, but yer still not that is it.

Wondered if anyone has any experience/advice....
I have a full time job, company sorts tax etc so no self declaring...
I've potentially got an opportunity to take a month sabbatical (unpaid) from my work and to do a tour with a US artist in Europe. Money won't be huge but will be around the same that I'm missing from my full time job so what, if any, are the tax implications? Do I need to do anything? Tell anyone etc?
Cheers in advance!
Sounds exciting. Good Luck

From what I understand, that was the first time any of the cast had heard any of the reviews. Rob Reiner wrote them and had kept them secret up to that point.
That would certainly fit, because their reactions are so genuine and unscripted.

Fav gag for me is when they are sat around the table and they are going through past album reviews.
