  1. Thank you for that. So I guess Shure is the way to go for the wireless system and then over time and experience upgrade the buds until I find some I like.
  2. Hello, I am after an in ear wireless monitoring system. I had a look at Thomann and they look okay, around £180 would get you started. Then I looked in more detail and found all of the systems around this price don't go down to the frequencies bass players use and as in my case the 30Hz of a low B. You seem to have to spend at least £500 to have the lower frequencies. Does anyone have experience with these systems or any useful comments?
  3. I bought a Zoom B 9 in the end. At £100 I thought it was worth a go . So far it seems good but will have first practice on Tuesday
  4. Hello, I have had a look at all the units suggested and I am not so keen on the tc electronics or the line 6. I am a fan of their products as I use both makes aleady but they are aimed more at the guitarist than the bass. This may be an outdated opinion as spec wise they can handle the frequencies but it just feels like a compromise. While looking at the boss unit I watched the vedio for the GT10B. It looks good. Does any one have experience of this unit or want to tell me how I am missing the point with the other units?
  5. Hello, I am looking to get some effects for my rig. Years ago I used an SGX Nightbass which at the time (15-20 years ago) seemed like one of the best around. I would hope things have moved on since then including things like tone print etc. I thought I would see if anyone had any opinions good or bad on current systems. I am really looking for a multi effect unit. Any thoughts?
  6. Used them many times and only had a problem once when a package was damaged but this was dealt with quickly.
