  1. Now £300

I'm an acoustic guitar/bass player and I haven't had an electric guitar for over 25 years but I just fancied buying one. After reading great reviews I bought the Epiphone. Within a couple of days with it, I realised that it wasn't sounding/playing as well as it should because the intonation was out. I've since had it professionally set up, by a local guitar tech, and it's sounding great but I've now decided that an electric guitar is not for me.

I know that you can purchase these guitars new for £350 but they don't come with a hard case and if you're intending to take the guitar out to play then you really need a hard case to protect it. You'll also be very lucky to take a new guitar out of the box and for it to play perfectly for you, so you'll probably need to pay to get it set up. I'm asking £300 for this guitar, which is in new condition, and sounds great when played through the Boss Katana amplifier, which I bought at the same time (and which will also be going up for sale at £150 once I've sold the guitar).

I live in Stoke on Trent and would prefer collection only, so that you could come and try out the guitar, but I would be willing to post it, at cost.

  2. Alan has just purchased a Hofner Club Bass from me. We met up at mutually convenient location, had a very nice chat and concluded the deal. Alan's a great guy to do business with.

  3. Hi Basschatters,

I may have to ship a bass, in a case, to Ireland. I have a box to put it in and the dimensions are as follows. From top opening to bottom 120cm, the distance across the front is 49cm and the depth is 12cm.

I've taken it to the post office and just put it on the counter scales and got a quote £65 insured for £450.

    Which carriers do you recommend?

    Thanks

  4. This amp is like new for less than half the cost of a new one.

A Compact Stereo Acoustic Amp with Pure, Natural Tone

Although there are many acoustic amps on the market today, few of them can compete with the rich, natural tone of the compact AC-60 Acoustic Chorus amplifier. This innovative stereo amp uses sophisticated digital signal processing to deliver a crisp sound with lush stereo/multi-band chorus—including a new “wide” mode—plus delay/reverb and impressive Auto Anti-Feedback control. And with its 2-channel Mic/Line design and stand-mountable configuration, the AC-60 is clearly heads above the competition.

  5. Items like new, only used a few times. Items can be shipped.

The ADJ Mega Tripar Profile Plus is a compact, low profile par designed for uplighting and stage lighting, and will bring color and excitement to any gig. This fixture features an unique “sit-flat” design so that it may sit directly on the ground or inside truss without the scissor yoke because the power & DMX ins and outs are mounted on the side of the fixture, not on the rear. Willing to post.

  6. This is a reluctant sale due to painful nerve damage in right arm/hand.

The bass is in excellent condition and the case is brand new. Any trial is welcome.

Sound and Style: Many prefer the 500/2 Club Bass to the 500/1 Violin Bass as it offers a bigger body but produces almost identical tones - the legendary Höfner bottom end thump. With a fully hollow body and short scale (30") neck, it is a light and easy bass to play.

I also thought it would be useful if a spot of busking ever presented itself. Alas neither came to fruition. although the amp is very useful for practising purposes.

I'm selling this amp to help fund my desire for a newer bass guitar.

The amp is in excellent condition.

Delivery is an option at buyers expense. I've checked cost with DPD and prices start at less than £10
