I've spent a happy hour getting to know this awesome setup - Geddy Lee I ain't, but wow, the possibilities. If I can master my footwork, I should be able to duet with my 5 string
Soppy grin attached to face...

Well the topic said 'post your pedalboard' - so that is exactly what I am doing!!
WHAT a beast!
Always wanted Moog Taurus pedals - never could afford them. Behringer (despite what everyone says about them) have nailed the Taurus. Landed a mint set of Roland PK5A pedals on fleabay, i am already blown away...
Now all I need a 2000w amp and a couple of 8x10 cabs...and brace myself for the ASBO!

Head is no longer for sale - cab still up for grabs.🙂

Super plate reverb for bass - high pass filter allows you to filter out the low bass notes, prevent muddiness in the reverb tails. Particularly effective with a 5 string, to prevent the low B overwhelming the reverb. Can go from subtle room to cavernous ambient with almost infinite length. Highly flexible and easy to use. Mix and volume control take care of evening out levels, the pedal has a high headroom clean boost built in. Can be run between 9 and 18volt.
This is a 'special edition' - gallery edition with special artwork.
Packed in its original box with box candy, it is immaculate and unmarked.

Space for more pedals of course....

Power supply is from a 1 Spot CS7.
Observant folks will query that it only has 7 outputs for 10 pedals - three of the pedals (Mira compressor, Fallout Cloud & Waterfall) are daisy chained through the Peterson Tuner. No noise issues thankfully. The Catalinbread reverb occupies the 18v output. The Rose gets one of the two 500ma outputs, and the Peterson chained with the three analog pedals takes the other 500ma output. Potential for two more low power pedals via the daisy chain, but I think I've got everything I need for now!!!

I finally indulged myself in the last 4 months by building a board that is over the top and entirely unnecessary, but I love it! Particularly when I'm in an experimental mood.
Bottom right to top left signal flow, but upper row is designed so that I can either run it all into the front of the amp, or run the tremolo, delay, verb and slicer through the FX loop on the amp, and the bottom row into the preamp.
Pedal choice? Peterson tuner, anniversary edition picked up mint off eBay, into Walrus Mira compressor, then DOD Meatbox (guilty pleasure pedal) into the amazing Fallout Cloud fuzz from Thorpyfx (it sounds soooo good on bass!). Then Jam Waterfall bass chorus and Walrus Polychrome Flanger. Modulation goodness all round!
Top row starts with JHS 3 Series Harmonic Trem - for me this is a bit of a one trick pony, I have a particular trem effect I like and that's where it stays! Historically I like the Boss TR-2, but the JHS gives you volume control, which is the clincher for me. Then comes the delay to end all delays - the Rose! Oh boy, I've barely scratched the surface! Many future voyages of discovery to be enjoyed... After this the Catalinbread Talisman Plate Reverb. I don't use it alot, but it sometimes adds some ambient 'sauce' and the HPF means my 5 string doesn't play havoc with it. Finally another purely fun choice - the SL-2 slicer. One additional feature that is fun to play with is that the Slicer has a creditable tremolo setting, so with a trem pedal either side of the verb, I can, without changing the board, play tremolo into verb and vice versa.
Point to note - its a purely mono signal path that I don't intend to record with, it's just for fun and noodling into the Laney Nexus head and PJB compact 4 at home.
I'm having a ball this Christmas...neighbours are not so sure 😂

Any opinions on the Walrus Audio Badwater?
Fender sounds an interesting choice - I have to admit snobbery had kept me away from it but it sounds like that is misplaced prejudice on my part.
-
One for and one against the EHX...😆
I'm getting the feeling I need to look elsewhere...it may be my prejudice but I've always fought shy of EHX in the past, and the above doesn't inspire me taking the leap...think I may be back to 3 separate pedals?

Putting on one side the relative differential in pricing of these two pedals, does anyone have a view on their performance and have any of you personal experience of either (or both!)
I'm after a Comp/Eq/Dirt combo, and I'm struggling with choosing individual pedals, and like the idea of these 'all in one" solutions.
My requirements are to fatten the sound and increase sustain with just a bit of fuzz breakup, and have control over eq. I also want to deliver out into a DOD Meatbox octave/synth, then into a chorus, before hitting the amp.
Amp is a Laney Nexus SLS. Basses are Cort Elrick NJS5 and Schecter P4 Exotic (both active)
I have also routed a delay and reverb (with HP Filter) through the amp fx loop as well, but they only get used occasionally.
I have to say I like the spec of the battalion, particularly its ability to switch the eq post/pre/parallel to distortion, but the lure of a 'boutique' option is strong! The compressor/limiter on the Analog Alien looks more controllable (3 knobs as opposed to 1 on the Battalion)
I'm open to ideas and your suggested alternatives. I play finger and pick, I don't slap.
Cheers

Boss Waza Air Bass practice headphone system.
Totally amazing sound quality and really does sound 'in the room'. Synch with phone App via Bluetooth MIDI and you can manipulate to your hearts content. Metronome and drum machine feature to practice along to - stream backing tracks from your phone or laptop via bluetooth audio....it really is brilliant - BUT I've got my eyes on a new amp and something needs to help fund that!
Only used a few times and boxed like new.

Bought on a whim as a treat to myself...and sat in the case since! - as new and representing a 25% saving on a new one. I'll even throw in the Stagg hard case and Souldier leather strap (which really compliments this beautiful finish).
