1. Sorry for my late reply. I had some days off. I'm located in Germany...so it could be a little challenging to try this beauty out However, shipping is no problem. I would pack her very carefully Cheers, Marc
2. Hi Ross, if you are interested I can ask for it as I'm still in contact with the master luthier. However, as I already wrote above you can trust me that it doesn't effect tone or appearance of this beauty. Where are you located? It would also be no problem to try the bass if you're around. Cheers, Marc
3. PRICE DROP: NOW ASKING FOR 999£
4. The crack just affected the headstock so there's absolutely nothing to see on the fretboard. Trust me, as this crack happened ten years ago and since then you cannot even notice a little affect on tone or the whole bass, you don't have to worry about the crack. As I already wrote above, it has been fixed by one of the best luthiers in germany and you only can see it when you look very closely
5. PRICE DROP: NOW ASKING FOR 999£ Hello again basschat community! For sale is an incredible and hard to find 1986 Warwick Streamer Stage 1 bass. This one is absolutely a keeper bass, but needs to go now as there's no time to play it anymore. That's why she is looking for a new owner :-) I would say it is in a 8/10 condition, with normal wear and only a few small dings. There has been a crack in the headstock about ten years ago which has been fixed excellently by a well-known master luthier in germany. You only can see this if you look very closely at the headstock (see the detailed pictures below) but this has absolutely no impact on tone or playability. Overall this instrument plays and sounds absolutely awesome. It's hard to let it go but unfortunately it makes no sense for me to keep it. I'm asking for [s]1100£[/s] 999£ incl. hardcase plus shipping. Please find the details and pictures below: - Bass: Warwick Streamer Stage I - Strings: 4 string - Serial Number: G 331 86 - Year: 1986 - Month: Juli - Number: 331 - Neck Wood: Wenge Wood with Annegre Laminations - Fingerboard: Wenge Wood with 4 mm Mother of Pearl Dot Inlays - Frets: Bronce Warwick Frets - Nut: Just a Nut Brass Version - Neck construction: NeckThrough - Body: 2 pcs. solid cherrywood body - Surface: Oil Finish / BeeWax - Pickups: Active EMG PJ Pickups - Electronic: 2 Band MEC Electronic - Hardware: Warwick Hardware made bei Schaller - Made in Germany / Pretzfeld Oberfranken If you got any further questions feel free to contact me.
