hey, i have a couple questions regarding my amp, Basically, i have a mid 90's (i think) Ampeg 8x10, it has a single 1/4" input (Pic attatched). Would it be possible to wire the new type of jack plate with three 1/4" inputs and two speakon inputs into the cab? If so is there anywhere online i can find a wiring diagram? Also, what 12ax7 tubes would you recommend for a 'warm', 'round' tone? Cheers

Hi guys, I'm thinking about Frankensteining some old beat up basses, i have a quick question though.. At around 40 seconds into this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YmPH_HcYwWI there is a MM Stingray4 with a 5 string pickup. Does this have any tonal advantages/disadvantages? Would this only work with humbuckers or would it be possible to do this with J Pups? Cheers
