1. thanks man! much appreciated
 2. yea was thinking that myself, the place i bought my amp has them all out to try so probs the best option
 3. I was looking at them but I'd quite like to have separate stomp boxes. As listening to friends ones in the past they seem to give a better result, plus as a one of payment the multi ones are expensive haha
 4. Jeez I dunno why I said compressor o meant the limiter enhancer. Sorry
 5. Hey, i've just bought an orange combo having gone from a line 6 modelling amp. obv the ornage has no features like the line 6. so i was wondering would you recommend a boss compressor? just to help round the sound off? had one on the line 6 built in thought it was great and im just struggling at the min to find a good all round tone with the orange. Like i have my 'geddy lee' tone the real punchy one but id like a happy medium between that and a nice rounded bass tone. would the compressor be the right thing? sorry for being so long winded. Thanks
 6. The Peter Murray essential bass techniques? Been playing for 10 years but I sometimes feel like my technique lets me down, is this book any good? (Mods feel free to move if in wrong place)
 7. Thanks guys! I'm sure I will enjoy it! And Leen my whole bass playing philosophy is based on him! Probably shouldn't be as he pretty much plays with one finger! (Makes me sick, love the man) if anyone can suggest a book for improving technique that would be amazing I'm always open to ideas and love expanding my playing!
 8. Saturday morn bump! Willing to meet with buyer (as long as reasonable distance)
 9. Haha nah you won't! I'm sure you're good already bert! Yea I do, love the versatility of them. Just a great all round bass! Need to save up and buy myself an old one haha
 10. Don't use any effects atm but may venture into things when my curiosity takes me there Heroes - Geddy Lee, Jaco, Donald 'Duck' Dunn, Mark Hoppus (yes mark hoppus ) and too many others to mention Nice to meet you all
 11. Hey guys I'm new here so first of Hi! my first order of business is as the title suggests, my amp is for sale. Been gigged a couple of times but really just been bedroom use, this thing is LOUD and creates a lot of grunt. Along with the pedal board this is a great gigging amp and will do most pubs and small clubs without the need for being mic'd up. This is the pedal, its the version before this only difference is the volume/wah pedal style: http://line6.com/foo...xpressmkii.html The next bit is about the amp robbed from the website:

5 Incredible Bass Amp Models: Clean, R&B, Rock, Brit, and Grind
5 Essential Bass Effects: Synth, Compressor, Envelope Filter, Octaver, and Chorus
Deep Switch With Special Tone Shaping for Supreme Fatness
XLR Direct Out With Line 6's exclusive A.I.R.™ processing
4 programmable channel memories, 36 with FBV Shortboard™
Headphone Out
Jam Along CD/MP3 1/8-inch Input
Built-in Chromatic Tuner
Footswitch Jack for FBV Express™ or FBV Shortboard™
15-inch Speaker w/horn
300 Watts
Dimensions: 89lbs, 18"L x 22"W x 30"H
Amp Models:

Clean: Inspired by* the Eden Traveler, this model is all about clean, funk and fusion bass tone. It'll give you all the warm lows and punchy highs you need
R&B: Inspired by* the '68 B-15 Flip Top, this model is a tribute to those late 60s and early 70s clean, fat bass tones. It is the kind of tone you hear on most Motown recordings, as played by a pioneering young bassist, James Jamerson.
Rock: This model is inspired by* a classic of the genre, the '74 Ampeg® SVT®, which has appeared on innumerable recordings and arena stages worldwide. Now, all the tone of the head and 300-pound behemoth 8x10 cab is available without having to lookup a chiropractor.
Brit: Based on a '68 Marshall® Super Bass, this model delivers the kind of overdriven bass sounds brought to us by late '60s British rock pioneers like Cream and The Who.
Grind: As the name would suggest, this is for modern rock lovers—Alice in Chains to Mudvayne and Rage Against The Machine. Based on* a distorted SansAmp PSA-1 into an SVT® with a direct clean bass signal mixed in, this model gives you that angry, clear and punchy aggression that cuts through the mix and takes your sound to DEFCON 1.
Effects Models:

Compressor: This pro LA-2A®-style compressor is ideal for every bass player and particularly useful for the ones who play with their fingers—achieve a smooth and consistent signal at any volume.
Envelope filter: Based on* a Q-Tron, this is the baddest envelope filter on the planet. This effect can be heard on tons of major funk and rock tunes.
Octaver: Based on* the EBS® OctaBass®, this effect produces a single note one octave below the note you're playing to add a powerful new vibe to your sound.
Chorus: Based on* the much loved T.C. Electronic® Chorus. This is the most transparent, smooth and expressive chorus ever built for bass—and using it won't reduce your low end. It's especially beautiful with fretless basses.
Synth: Sitting at the back of the model knob is this secret weapon that turns LowDown into a '70s classic bass synth. From funk to modern rock, this fully adjustable synth delivers incredible tones while tracking every dynamic move you make!
£250 o.n.o Attached are some pics.
