  1. Based on my transition to primarily using a HX stomp, I've decided to sell the pedals as they just don't get the action they deserve anymore! All of these are in working order. Happy to sell all as one package for £330, individual prices are shown below.

    Included are:

    - Boss OC2 (£140)

    - Electro Harmonix Bass Big Muff Pi (£65) -

TC Electronic Flashback delay and looper (£70) -

    Valeton Dapper Bass Flyrig (£75)

Happy to post in the UK at buyer's expense. Or collection in Chippenham, Wiltshire

  2. A fantastic 5 string bass for sale here! This has been my main gigging bass for a few years now but I am looking for something more vintage in style as a change. As we all know that means the 'one in, one out' rule applies! This bass sounds great and is a limited run finish. It has some great Nordstrand pickups fitted and the Ibanez active EQ is spot on. I have some strap locks fitted but will change the strap pins to the original gold finish ones before selling. As this has been a gigging bass, there are some marks on the body and on the neck which I have tried my best to show in the photos. Comes with the original case too. Available from Chippenham, happy to meetup somewhere if you are a bit further away. Not available by delivery.

  3. For sale here is a stunning example of a vintage Ibanez Musician fretless bass from 1986. It is the MC2940 model if you want to do some further digging on the bass. It has been in my possession for around 10 years now and other than some university performances, it has not been gigged and primarily used as an at home bass. I love this bass but it does not get the use it deserves meaning that it is some for a new stewardship! It has an amazing growly tone and does not feel like it was made 30+ years ago. The look is fantastic but is hard to catch on photos. Currently have strap locks attached to it but the original gold finish strap pins will be put back on before the sale. Also comes with the original hard case. No shipping. Collection in person from Chippenham. Happy to travel within reason

  4. Hiya all!

I'm David Nevitt and I am a bassist on the border of Wiltshire and Somerset in Chippenham! Looking for new projects around these areas. Happy to play most genres, but happiest when either doing Hendrix/Cream styled stuff or Disco/Funk stuff. Experienced gigging musician across the last 10 years or so and have a high quality (but easy to lift) rig. This rig includes electric bass, fretless bass and synth bass!

Also have a high quality home studio setup and can record bass/synth parts from home.

Hope to hear from people interested in similar things and hopefully get something going on the local circuit!

I have looked at that just finding a used one for a good price.

I have to sell gear first to buy more. Wife asked why do I need so many pedals? I said why do you need so many shoes? Which wasn't the right response

Where are you sleeping tonight then? 😂

Nylon tapes tend to be a slightly higher gauge per string than a typical set of rounds, so you might need to widen your nut slots. I’ve only ever used Labella Black Nylons. They sound fantastic IMO but be prepared to adjust your plucking technique as they are a lot looser feeling than many other string types.

Thanks Cameron, that’s really useful advice! How would you describe the sound?

  7. Hello!

My name is Dave and I am a bassist in North Kent. Been playing around 12 years now. Been a member on the site for a while but never really introduced myself!

Gear includes a heavily modded Fender mexican deluxe active P-bass and a '86 Ibanez Musician Fretless, all played through a Tone Hammer 500 with a Bergantino 1x12.

Mostly rock/metal throughout my teenage years, think Zeppelin mixed with Nirvana and Iron Maiden. Now I would say I edge more towards soul and funk (recent convert to foam under the bridge)!

Play for a rap/R'n'B artist, 'Fennie', a Cream and Hendrix tribute act, appropriately named 'Creami-Hendrix' and a function/party band, 'The Rockets Collective.

Also a proud runner up of the Rotosound competition from earlier this year, I wear the t shirt with pride!

  8. My new band Creami-Hendrix are playing tonight at The Queens Head in Boughton tonight (28th Sept). As you may have worked out by the name, we are a Cream and Hendrix tribute act! We had our first show last night and it was a blast. I'm sure that tonight will be just as good 😉
