Another vote here for the Wolfcraft. Had mine for about 6 years and still going strong. I think there was a previous thread on this very subject a few years ago.

I have used the WD-40 contact cleaner for a little while. Does the job nicely.

Customized strap from Pinegrove leather?

Lovely. Think these were a 2016 limited edition.

Are they full width inlays on the 78 that I see? Thought they stopped those in the transition from 72/73.

Argh! Just missed out on this back in Feb the day I was traveling back down to Kent from Sunderland. Since acquired alternative unfortunately. GLWS, someone will be very happy.

I believe someone was after one of these in the wanted adds.

Sad news. A great bass player and one of my favourite bands.

Bought a gig bag from Owen. Good price and good communication throughout transaction. Item well packed and quick delivery. Fab.

Can I take it please?

Shame they are 4 in a line. You don't see these very often and were prone to disintegrating I believe.

I had the same problem. Two gigs in and despite wiping the strings down, rust appeared after a couple of weeks. Basically left unplayable.

Not that I play it much these days but always used a pic with my ric to get the sound that I wanted. Using fingers just did not feel or sit right either. With other basses I am about 50/50 fingers/pic depending on song and sound I am trying to achieve.

If you want something really sturdy, Wolfcraft all the way. Used for many years for lots of things as well as gear and still as good as ever. Even lifted a heavy Bosch washing machine down three flights of steps without a sweat.

Andy bought some pickups from me a little while back. Good communication throughout and a pleasure to do business with.

The boards on these are Macassar (striped ebony). This one looks to be in fantastic condition. Took me a long time to find one in almost as good condition.

They were very big in Belgium when I lived there in the 80's. Saw them at the Manhattan, Leuven, and they had such energy live. Peter was playing a Kubicki Factor which sounded glorious and have wanted one ever since. Great voice too.
