Mark Bass 121H traveler is nice and light and packs a decent punch too at 500w.

Had the RH450 for a spell and found it gutless so got rid and bought a Mark Bass LMIII. All good so far

FFS !!! I have been looking for one of these to come up for sale for months and as soon as I bloody order one and pay for it this appears.

+1 for the 2x10 cab Ohm rating. I've never seen an Ashdown 2x10 cab that is not 8 ohms

I'm not sure if the later stuff are manufactured in China or just assembled there.

If It's made in China it usually says ' Made in PRC' on the back. Not sure when this happened. I'm sure
somebody reading this thread will chip in with the relevant info

+1 for a Peavey 2x10" cab or similar. You can pick them up for peanuts and they sound great. Or take T-Bay's advice and wire your stuff up to the mains LOL

Mark Bass combos are powerful and light. I went down a similar route as I suffer back problems. I now have a Markbass LM III 500w head which fits into a small gig bag.
And Markbass light weight cabs, 1x12" traveler 400w and Standard 2x10" 400w. Much kinder on my back and powerful too. A Fender 100w Rumble is ok for small gigs and
home use. IMO

That's a good price to have all that work done. I've done my own Ashdown Abm before but nothing major. Just removed the fans and hoover all the fluff and dust out. A bit of
switch cleaner on the pots and good to go.

If you already have plenty of active basses I'd keep the Jazz Passive. Can't beat that old school plug straight in and play Passive Jazz sound. IMO

Been using Abm since 2000 when I bought my 500w 4x10 combo and 1x15 Cab. Only sold it because it was too heavy. Bought smaller separate Abm cabs and head and still
have a beaten up pre Evo ABM 500w 2x10 Combo. Replaced the separates with Markbass LMIII and lighweight cabs but still have a Rackmount ABM 500 watt head coz I just love the sound
they kick out.

I think the last two digits of the serial number are the year of manufacture so yours would be 2008.

Another heads up for Dave Lunt Stockport. He's just fixed my poorly Ashdown Abm rackmount bass head. Turned it round in less than 24 hours.
When I went to collect the amp he fixed my SGC Nanyo bass collection active circuit board whilst I waited. I can't sing his praises enough he's my go to
Amp and guitar tech.

Hi Just spotted this. Had this fixed by John Diggins about Two years ago. All is well with the Series III now thank you

Bought a rack case from Mark. well packed, great communication & generally great guy to deal with. Would not hesitate to deal with Mark again in the future.

Bought a Rackmount Ashdown ABM bass amp from Steve. Unfortunately unknown to him it was faulty. Took it to Dave Lunt
Amp technician to repair it and when I phoned Steve to let him know how much it was going to cost he refunded my Paypal account
straight away. Can't fault the guy. Communication and co-operation throughout. Wouldn't hesitate to deal with him again. Credit to Basschat.
