Hmm, thanks for the replies all. Will look into Eurostar I think but even then I'm guessing I may have to passon this as I'd still have the 'chance' of declaring it.

With this option, I'd still have to pay:

bass + import + vat?

Does anyone know of an easy way to calculate the charges for importing a bass from the Netherlands to the UK? Customs charges, shipping etc. Bass would be around £3k in value.

Anyone else have any alternatives? Not rack mounted but I have also wondered about the EBS Microsbass 3.

Currently have a EBS HD350 but would like a Dual channel option rack mounted solution with similar sound capabilities, I'm not interested in Drive so am looking for Dual clean channels.

Any ideas?

The thought of another 1-2 yrs researching another amp is quite daunting. Not sure where i'll go now.
