    After a long and intense tour, these lady has to be played and she wants to fly to a new house!!!!

    This is a mix between a Precision and a Thunderbird, nothing to add...

    The serial n° is C00185X so according to musicmanbas.org, I could say mine is a 79, but not sure...

    Thanks mate. You know, they are all excellent "technicians" with serious background but, IMO, they know how to "serve" the emotion, the song without distorting it and are able to bring their sensibility and give the song a new "dimension" if you know what I mean...

    There's an obvious filiation between all these cats for me : I mean, they are all simple but not simplistic, serious groover , "sober" but never boring...that's what I wanna find & like in bass line...

    According to Smith's recent interview, Reeves is the only one who can play and replicate Porl Thompson's guitar part ( former and long guitar Cure player, before Bamonte replaced ( with a diiferent sound, technique and inspiration ) him in 93 ).
    Plus, Reeves recorded the song Wrong Number with Smith under the name The Cure in the 2000's...They met each other during Bowie's 50 anniversary gig in NY...
