1. I am trying to get hold of one of these limited run frankenstein Fenders for at least 3 or 4 years when they launched basically the same bass but called it Pro (prototype). Seems Fender is at it again but condition for me is Olympic White as I already have too many sunburst basses around. Do you know any european store that has on of these to sell? Remind you it must be like the one on the link but olympic white, white pickguard with black line contour https://www.thomann.de/pt/fender_p_bass_special_journey_3ts.htm

4. price drop to 375 euros for both units for a limited time. i will also give away a rocktron midi cable 7 pin to control the patchmate with the midi mate. this also powers the midimate so you only need one cable to do it all.
5. I see but shipping to Portugal would probably be very pricey. I really do not know what to do lol
6. Just asked the seller if this is a Chinese bass. Reply is Italian.
7. Where did you get that curved back upright for that money? The cheapest I found is a gewa laminated for almost 3000 euros new.
8. well, i was curious but if you will not be able to sell it what other options should i consider?
9. i am back thinking what i should get. this is probably a chinese bass and i would prefer something of quality right from the start.
10. I got the pictures in two batches, that is why you see the different pickups. So you would buy from another place? They were not taken at the same time. Let's see my options again? I did not know that installing a realist would be so easy. I really do not know much about upright and to be honest, I really thought this one to be an awesome deal (being a carved instrument with curved back for only 3000 euros and all the extras included)
11. fully carved, ebony board, adjustable bridge, gig bag, spirocore strings and realist pickup (in need of a repair in the cable). the seller says it bought it brand new 11 years ago and in all this time it never got a repair. he also says it weight is less than his fender jazz 4 string. other than that, he includes in the deal a carbon fiber "pivot" for lack of a better word (i never played upright so i am still learning the technical words). anyway, here you go with 2 videos of this upright in action. https://www.facebook...97302033&type=3 trip aside (maximum 100 euros), i can buy it for 3000 euros with all the accessories included in the deal. what you think? i am asking because all uprights seem good to me and i do not want to mess this up. i asked for how much did the upright cost and got this: - 2750 for the upright brand new - 130 for the pivot + 80 for mounting it - 220 for the pickup + 50 for mounting it - 160 for the strings - 40 for wheels - 100 for the bag - 60 for setup - TOTAL: 3590 euros i should also add that the seller seems to be a very nice guy so i am not questining him at all, i am just in need of experienced opinions! all is subjective but want your opinion anyway! now pictures! should the fingerboard make a perfect curve? (see the pictures)
12. Yes. Got a reply but for that money I would prefer a Bjorn Stoll Dresden
13. Those look good. Thanks for letting me know. In the meantime I stumbled on a very nice and used giovinazzy. Anyone knows anything about them? I wasn't lucky with a website Google search.
14. does anyone here has anything to say about such luthiers? what is your expericence with them? which models did you try? alternatives in the same quality? i am looking for an upright for jazz playing and from Bjorn Stoll, the Dresden model caught my attencion, Casa Parramon i like the Mastri Model. Both models cost about the same.
