    For sale or relatively specific trade is my custom built Sutch Guitars fretless 5-string bass - £[s]1350[/s] [b]£1050[/b] ono or possible trades for a 70s vibe Fender J. Not necessarily vintage, but vintage vibe (I'm very aware that I can't afford a stack knob J...). With regards to trades, I would prefer straight trade at value or plus cash my way. Not looking to spend more than the value of this instrument.

    Heavily inspired by the Gary Willis Ibanez GWB basses, this is a much more flexible and, in my opinion, versatile variation on one of my favorite bassist's custom models. I don't like selling instruments, but after 2 years of great service, my needs have changed somewhat and I'm using this bass less than it deserves to be used. It has been gigged a lot and has been all over Europe, always in proper flight cases etc.. As such, there is the usual wear and tear, but this is limited to very slight scratches to the rear of the bass and minor dings to the top of the headstock. It has been very well cared for. Photos are below, plus 2 professional photos from the luthier after the build was completed. A great opportunity to own a one of a kind instrument!

    I'm based in Birmingham and any interested people are very welcome to come and give the bass a whirl. Collection is preferred, but shipping can be arranged at the buyers expense and risk. Payment via Paypal or bank transfer. Can supply either a Gator hard case that came with the bass, or a pretty beaten up Ritter gig bag!

    - Beautiful one piece swamp ash body
    - 5 piece Wenge/Bubinga neck with Ebony fingerboard (24 position fretless with Wenge lines)
    - 12" fingerboard radius, 34" scale neck with narrow(ish) 7mm string spacing at nut (neck carved with me present to get it absolutely spot on - great service!)
    - Lightweight Hipshot tuners and aluminium A-style bridge
    - Custom John East preamp with 3 band EQ, parallel/single coil mini toggle (with option of changing to 3-way for parallel/series/single coil) and active/passive push/pull volume pot
    - Delano SBC HE/S pickup
    - Wenge backplate and magnetic battery cover
    - Swamp Ash adjustable finger ramp
    - Natural oil/wax finish
    - Strung with Thomastik Infeld flats

    Clover Avenger 5-string fretless bass for sale. I've owned this bass for nearly 10 years and it's a lovely instrument. It's not getting the use it deserves anymore, so it's time for it find a new home. I bought this bass from Sounds Great in Manchester about 10 years ago (honestly can't quite remember exactly...) as a fretted instrument and had it converted to fretless by Jaydee guitars in Birmingham about 5 years ago. This is the slightly older model Avenger with a solid walnut body, as opposed to the walnut tops used on the new ones. Not sure when production changed, but I know that this is certainly a one piece walnut body.

    Specifics:

    - 34"-ish scale (slightly longer than 34" due to the fretless conversion)
    - 24 position ebony fingerboard - 20" radius
    - maple neck with satin finish
    - one piece walnut body - gloss finish
    - Delano pickups (3x JSBC-HE)
    - 9v Delano preamp: 3 band EQ, blend control, master vol. with pull switch for passive mode, 3-way mini toggle for parallel/single coil/series wiring & pickup selection, 2-way toggle boost (I believe this is a mid boost, but I've honestly never used it!)
    - Clover bridge
    - Gotoh tuners (originals were rubbish and broke!)
    - strung with Thomastik flats

    I have never actually seen another fretless Clover Avenger anywhere. Only other one I could find is a random photo on Google. This is an unusual instrument that plays and sounds beautiful. A real workhorse with a wide range of modern and classic sounds. I've used this bass on countless gigs and sessions and it has never, ever let me down. It has had a couple of dings on the top of the headstock (see photos) and there are some scratches on the pick guard (mainly from my DIY, MDF finger ramps, which you're welcome to have by the way...) but this instrument has been well maintained over the years. Very clean, very solid and an all around top instrument. Comes with a generic 'Gear for Music' hard case I have lying around. Happy to throw in an old Ritter gig bag if you'd prefer.

    Looking for £800. Will consider trades/part ex but only good quality things please. Possibly tempted by a nice P bass, but cash is king. Based in Birmingham, you're welcome to come and give it a blast! Can post at buyers expensive if requested.

    Source Audio Soundblox Multiwave Bass Distortion 2 for sale. Really interesting pedal from Source Audio but, alas, not for me. I've had this for a few years now and it just hasn't fitted in to my pedalboard. Some really cool sounds, especially when combined with the 'hot hand' or an expression pedal. Useful 2 patch memory recall too.

    No box or manual I'm afraid, but I will throw in a generic 9v dc power supply.

    £75 - open to offers. Based in Birmingham and can post at buyers expense (will be between £4-7 probably).

    Nordstrand Dual Blade 5 Neo bridge pickup (EMG shell) for sale. I had this installed on a custom build, but wasn't quite what I wanted (a Delano unit matched up with my pre-amp a bit better). This is a good pickup with a nice range of sounds. Picked up the dynamic range in my playing well and responded nicely to EQ, effects and different amps. I had this wired to select parallel, series and single coil, all of which sounded good. What can I say, it's a good quality pickup!

    Dimensions: 103mm x 38mm. More info on the Nordstrand site.

    Was only in my bass for 3 months-ish. Around £80-90 new for the single unit, I'm asking £60 and can post at the buyers expense. Based in Birmingham.

    For sale: TC Electronic Desktop Konnekt 6 firewire audio interface. A great piece of kit for those wanting a straightforward, high quality interface for home recording. 2 jack inputs, 1 XLR and stereo output with separate headphone monitor control. Several monitoring/output options (explained properly here: [url="http://www.tcelectronic.com/desktop-konnekt-6/"]http://www.tcelectro...ktop-konnekt-6/[/url]) and M40 reverb, ResFilter filter and Assimilator EQ plugins included.

    This interface is in perfect working order, but has been used extensively. As such, the main volume knob has some obvious signs of wear and the front panel has some wear on text etc.. All this is shown in the photos below. Comes with original box, power supply, CD (with drivers and plugs. Also available on TC site) and firewire 400 to 400 cable. I have also included a firewire 400 to 800 cable, as it's frustrating not having the right connections... Will also throw in an Apple firewire to thunderbolt adaptor for an extra £10 if required.

    This is no longer available in shops (at least I can't find one...) and is a wonderful interface for those looking for an excellent budget piece of kit. Looking for £90. Based in Birmingham.
