1. Hello,

I have some pieces and parts I was gathering for a project that I decided I will not go through with unfortunately, so here they are for your convenience:

    1) £200 ---- "NEW" 2 piece Swamp Ash Warmoth Gecko 4 Body Unfinished with MM Sweetspot routed pickup cavity also with a blank neck poket and battery cavity on the back. (The condition of the body is New, still in the same pakage I received it, you will receive the body as if it were shipped from Warmoth, like I have ! but at lower price ! )

    2) £80 ------ Bartolini MM pickup that was taken off a Modulus Flea Bass, it is in used condition with the usual scratches, also, the Bartolini name on the pickup is not very visible anymore. I tested it and it has that typical "growl" you would expect from a Modulus Flea !

    3) £80 ------ Aguilar OBP-1 Preamp, in used condition, does a great job coupled with that MM pickup above.

Will ship if need to at buyers expense but I'd rather somebody picked it up in Dublin

  2. cheers fellas exactly what i needed to know

i'm going to try and fit them anyway as i have already bought stainless steel inserts which could be kinda hard to break especially cause i'm gonna take small steps at a time and practice my drilling skills, i can probably use some epoxy on the thread hole to keep the inserts further in place in case it's not tight enough

question is has anybody tried using a pitch taper tap for cutting a thread into the hard graphite ?

i'm assuming it is possible since Moses necks can be fitted with inserts

ps: where would the truss rod be standing in that void exactly?? the middle ok but is it attached to the fretboard or the back of the neck??

  3. i'm considering a graphite neck from status for a build however i'm missing some info

after looking at some photos i noticed ther's some kind of foamy material inside it, can somebody confirm it? the thing is i want to install some threaded inserts in it and want to research on the subject, do i just insert the threads as you would with wood?? or is there more to it?

    cheers
