1. I will still consider offers on this bass, also just to set a few things straight...
The actual strap button has never been ripped out or even loose I think the paint has worn from the movement of a strap or something, the reason it has the black button on it at the moment is that for some reason the strap lock wouldn't actually lock into the original one and I had a gig that night so I quickly swapped it with one from another instrument and I hadn't got round to replacing it when I took the photos. I will fit new strap buttons when it sells.

The bass has been fitted with flatwounds all its life so the frets are like new, I've only just fitted a nice new set or DR Hi Beam roundwounds so it would be easier to sell. The bass plays beautifully, the neck is very nice for a Precision, I think it is slimmer than standard as it feels more like a Jazz to play. The marks on the fretboard are not dents or chips, you can only just feel them under your finger and where they are they do not effect playability.

The finish is excellent on this bass and there are no other marks on it, it has been very well looked after and I don't believe the photos really do it justice.

I'm kind of in a hurry to sell it now as something has popped up, so I will consider all offers so just get in touch and see what I say, anything else just ask.

2. So I've found a bass they I just have to buy and I need to raise the funds for it, hence this beauty is for sale...

It's an old Fender Precision Special Deluxe I beleive is the full name, the passive version which I personally always preffered it has been fitted with a maple Jazz bass neck (Mighty Mite Replacement)- this is a top quality neck that I actually think is a lot nicer than the mexican necks.
I got this bass after I sold my Modulus as a stop gap between basses, and it actually became my number 1 bass for a good year because it really plays like a dream, it plays much better than my modulus ever did. Considering the price these 'Specials' sell for I'd say anything around £400 would be a good price for this one. there are a few marks on it which you can see in the pictures but this is really a players bass.

I have the original anodized pickguard if the buyer wants it and it comes with the moulded ABS case you can see in the photos.

I can ship this bass using UPS, we can agree an overall price for this. But you are more than welcome to come have a cup of tea and try this bass and feel how well it actually plays for yourself. I'm based in Essex but I can also drive to you if you're not too far.

I don't really want to sell this bass to be honest but I've found a gorgeous bass that I can't let slip.

Any questions then just ask...

The photos aren't amazing as I don't have my good camera to hand, but if requested I can take some more when I have the camera back.

3. Selling my beautiful Fender Telecaster Custom FMT HH, this is one of the older limited run of trans blue finished flame maple top models with the gorgeous tiger stripes. This guitar was made in Korea but I own a few US fender models including deluxe models and this is just as good quality wise and miles better than the later Indonesian built instruments.

The Fender Custom Telecaster FMT HH guitar features a Beautifully carved and bound figured Flame maple top (FMT), a bound and set mahogany neck with a rosewood fingerboard, and a super slim contoured mahogany body. As I mentioned this is one of the older models with the richer sounding Fender Atomic II TM Humbucker (Bridge) and a Fender Black CanyonTM Humbucker (Neck) pickups instead of the later Seymour Duncans which I personally find a bit 'thin' sounding.

This tele has 22 jumbo frets on a rosewood fingerboard with oversized abalone Dot inlays and a 25.5" scale length. It has a string through body and one tone which is a coil splitting 500k push/pull and one volume wired to a 3 way switch. The tele has fantastic sustain and lots of tonal variation and is nicely set up with low action. You can get classic telecaster tones right up to searing or chunky Gibson tone.
The main reason I've owned this guitar was because of its versatility, I'm mainly a bass player so this has been my main guitar and it's never left the house. The only reason I'm selling is that I don't get time to play it with my new job.

I'm located in South Essex if you wish to come and have a try of this guitar, or I can deliver locally. I will also ship this guitar via UPS if you are further much further away, I may also be able to deliver personally to some places further away.

Just contact me if you have any questions, I will happily consider offers on this guitar also .

Thanks for looking.

4. It plays beautifully as well, I never used to be a precision fan then I bought this after I sold my Stingray and I've fallen in love with them.

If you have a nice US precision of any sort get in touch as I may well be insterested, as long as it has 4 strings and frets (couple of years and I'll be after a fretless) I'm interested. I do prefer a maple neck/fingerboard though!

5. I'd also be interested in the status vintage type basses or a gibson grabber/ripper or Rd Artist bass.

If you want to come and have a look I'm based in essex but can deliver locally, I will also ship it via ups if you are not local, I've shipped many instruments internationally using ups without any problems.

Cheers

6. SOLD

Selling my 3Leaf Audio Wonderlove Envelope Filter, bought it back in October from BassDirect but it hasn't really seen much use in my band and has just sat on my pedal board. It's the limited edition etched case version which cost £215 new. It's in perfect condition but does have velcro marks on the back, I'll try and get as much off as possible if you're bothered.

It comes with all the original goodies I think I even have the receipt from bassdirect.

I'm looking for £175 shipped by UPS to UK Mainland but will accept offers and will ship overseas, but you'll have to ask about the shipping cost. I'm based in Essex if ytou want to pick it up or I can deliver locally as well.

Cheers for looking

7. Decided to sell this lovely US Deluxe Fender Precision Bass, it has the fender 18 volt 3 band active preamp and its the older version with the big fat humbucker pickup. You can get a good variety of tones from this using the pickup blend control, from good old precision tone to a dirty growl from the humbucker. As you can see from the photos there a few marks I've tried to show you them in the photos; the top strap button currently has a black one as I had to use it in an emergency but when the bass is sold I will put a matching pair of chrome schaller locking strap buttons on it.
I have recently had it set up with a new set of DR Handmade Hi Beams and it plays like a dream, I tried to include a photo to show the action of the bass.

It comes with the original fender hard shell case, which it fits in nice and snug; so I'm happy to ship it if you wish. (I've used UPS to ship many instruments internationally and I've never had a problem). I'm based in Essex if you want to have a look and I can deliver locally, and also maybe a bit further away as well.

I will of course consider offers on this bass, so please, fire away!

Any questions just ask.

8. Selling here what I believe from the serial number is a 1998 Musicman Stingray. I bought this just before Christmas after selling my Modulus on this site, and I've decided I'd rather something a little different.
It was owned from new by a music teacher who never gigged it and only played it occasionally at home so you can see from the photos that there is very little wear to the frets, the truss rod works perfectly and it's been set up recently with a set or DR High Beams, so it plays like a dream. I myself have only used it for one gig and then I've reverted back to my Fender.

I've recently used gun stock oil on the neck and waxed so it's beautifully smooth but still has a little shine to it, your hand never sticks to it, the body is virtually unmarked. It's got the usual tarnishing on the pickup pole pieces as you'd expect from a Musicman. I don't really know what else to say about it, other than that it's been looked after well it's entire life, it comes with a nice Gator hard case and a padded leather strap (just because I'm not going to use it).

I'm not in a huge rush to sell it so I'm going to put it up for £900 to start with, but I will accept offers. I will also ship using UPS if you wish and will include UK shipping in the agreed price.

For trade, I'd be looking for either an older Musicman- pre '92, and old Fender, but most of all a Status Vintage. Obviously for trade there will be cash your way as well.

You're welcome to come down and have look, weekends are best for me or possibly weekday evenings; I'm based on Canvey Island in Essex (near Southend). If you're reasonably local I don't mind bringing the bass to you either.

Any questions, just ask :)

9. Just completed a sale with Paul, helped him in his search to find a Modulus. It's been a pleasure to do business with him, everything went smoothly and communication was great, making the whole experience quite easy.

Thanks Paul, hope you enjoy your bass!
