Reposted due to dodgy link: Do you want a brand new 4x8 to match that??

It's all down to personnal choice! I for one wouldn't boil or soak, but IMHO the longer you keep your strings the better they get!
Either that or do I what do, when I think the strings need changing, I buy another bass! -
Any one fancy starting a Dictionary on all these Acryonms!?

So the free bus pass turns up soon, but I can't understand alot of the 'speak' on BC ie, MIM etc! Us older muso's could do with a lesson in Neo Speak!!!
Please help me out! -

Would just like to say that I've had a couple of dealings with Thomann and both have ended up in tears!
I wouldn't buy from them even if they were offering 'buy one get one free' -
WON'T TOUCH E'BAY!!

Is it just me, but have Ashdown amps gone out of favour? I've been trying to sell some Ashdown gear (amps and cabs and combo) for ages now and I've not had a bid on any thing!

How many Violin's, Cello's, D/basses etc, have you seen with maple boards?
R/w boards are the only way to go!! -
Will 2nd that! Dealt with Mark over the phone! Sorted! Mark and Bass Direct deserve a 'medal'

No ones asked if your bass is passive/active! I use 2 basses, both Fender, but the Jazz is louder than the P/Bass, both passive! (I use gb shuttle 9.0 bergantino hd210) controls just past the 12 o'clock mark!
I would suggest trying a couple of different basses, plus check your leads!! -
Try some diferent cabs! Vanderklay or Bergantino cabs are both that 'match' GB perfectly!

What most of you gigging muso's don't seem to realise is, that at a gig you are supplying a service, and no way should you be under any influences, booze etc!
You are getting paid to perform! So even at rehearsals, to make your next gig work you should use this time as a real gig and keep it real!
Any sort of 'extra help' should be avoided! Any singers, don't touch alcohol, ruins the vocal cords (as does ice in your drink)!
Do it properly, and then you'll see the results! -
