  1. Having buzzing/ earth problems with bass, have another post on here about it, going to go down the route of shielding all cavities, but before this is done while waiting on shielding, when i turn down tone pot buzz goes, was thinking about removing tone pot from circuit and just use two volume pots, has anyone done this before and what are the implications
    thanks

  2. Have a Geddy Lee Fender, having a constant buzz problem with it, buzzing stops when tone knob turned all the way down, have checked leads, amp the lot and it happens with different amps and leads, checked all the soldered joints,
Just want to know has anyone else had same problem and does anyone have a cure
Its a pretty loud buzz so its not the natural noise from pick up
    Thanks

  3. i never said i didnt like the bass, i just wanted some tips on how to achieve a type of sound

This bass is an excellent bass, lovely to play, as i think anyone on here will tell you, was looking at a way of achieving a sound with a combination of bass and amp settings or effects, or even any modifications to my bass

I dont think anyone would just buy this bass just to sound like geddy lee and play rush covers, its a great bass and just trying to get the beat out of it

  4. Hi, I use a Geddy Lee Fender Jazz and struggle with sound, would like to get a nice jazzy type stuart zender sound, I use a trace elliott pre amp, the bass says it has 60's Fender pick ups, have used several different strings and guages. Has anyone else had the same trouble with this bass, is it mostly a rock bass, any thoughts on a pick up change or settings on amp.
Any help, thoughts would be appreciated

  5. Hi, I have a Geddy Lee Bass and really happy with it,
the neck is excellent, setup is excellent even straight from the factory
for the price all the extra's you get is a bargain
you get a 70's jazz bass with 60's fender pickups, bad ass II bridge

Most of all get a shot of one and test it out before you buy, you will be impressed

    Excellent
