Hey, Just throwing out a topic as i'm looking for other musicians to jam with, as i've learnt so far on my own, but would like to meet other musicians and improve my game

Heya, for some reason it wouldn;t let me start a topic in the musicians wanted forum But i'm new to playing bass, been playing a week, but am progressing okay, and would like to find someone to teach me of a weekend, either someone from birmingham, or from hampshire, as that is where i'm based during the week. Hey, I'm Tom, 21 From Birmingham. I've just started upon my quest to learn to play bass. I understand that mastery of the bass guitar will take years if not decades, involving learning lots of different playing styles. I have a second hand bass guitar, not named, and a belcat 15w amp, as this is all i need to start, and being in the navy, having a pregnant girlfriend and buying a house is stretching my finances haha.
