  1. :)

Well the older ones are still great, but all I thought is that once the new ones come out (no idea when btw, maybe in a month or two) the value of the first editions might drop if you want to get a bargain!

"Made in 1991 as a copy of Geddy Lee's rickembacker"

recon they spelt it wrong on purpose?

  3. silly ARGH, sound and price aren't always linked :)

Used a rockbass streamer for a while, playability wasn't all there for my liking, but the sound was. Might want to wait a bit until the new range of rockbasses come out as this will either lower the price of the older one or you might find you prefer the newer one. Easiest way to tell the difference is to see whether it has a one piece bridge (Mark 1) or two piece (Mark 2)

  4. dont use behringer for the love of god. Had a BXL300A or something like that and it sounded w***, weighed as much as your mum (ooh burn) and was just all round horrific

    Seriously, don't :)

    Ashdown EB180 maybe?

  5. says "alpha d500" and the rest is obscured by solder, I'd assume thats 500k. There now seem to be certain grounding issues and most of the other pots don't function in quite the same way, can I assume that (if fitted correctly) replacing the pot will solve most of this?
