[quote name='Bassassin' post='439720' date='Mar 19 2009, 09:00 PM']Mind you, I don't think anyone's going to be fobbing this off as a lowly Rickenbacker:

HOLY MONKEY JEEBUS!
Thats cheap! -
I go by the rule that whatever wattage the guitarist is, you need to at least treble it.
If only just to put him in his place -
mmm was thinking p... I've been oddly drawn by the idea of a p for a while but I love my current two too much...

silly ARGH, sound and price aren't always linked
Used a rockbass streamer for a while, playability wasn't all there for my liking, but the sound was. Might want to wait a bit until the new range of rockbasses come out as this will either lower the price of the older one or you might find you prefer the newer one. Easiest way to tell the difference is to see whether it has a one piece bridge (Mark 1) or two piece (Mark 2) -
certainly one way of doing it, however the fewer run ins with the law the better!

dont use behringer for the love of god. Had a BXL300A or something like that and it sounded w***, weighed as much as your mum (ooh burn) and was just all round horrific

Apologies for the terrible acting on that video, it was the only one with the full song I could see -
true, I've always been of the out of sight out of mind school though it doesn't exactly solve the problem
-
just nicked my EBS head off me, great guy, easy to deal with.
Ace all round! -
yeah, just take it and then its done and dusted
-
I have no idea about instruments other than basses so I didn't even realise there was a difference
either way, awesome uke!

I didn't realise there was a secret love for tech soundsystems on the forum

says "alpha d500" and the rest is obscured by solder, I'd assume thats 500k. There now seem to be certain grounding issues and most of the other pots don't function in quite the same way, can I assume that (if fitted correctly) replacing the pot will solve most of this?
-
you know, I can really imagine that
-
just need to work out what pot to replace it with and where i need to go to get it. Unless there's a way to reattach a spindle?

Well the older ones are still great, but all I thought is that once the new ones come out (no idea when btw, maybe in a month or two) the value of the first editions might drop if you want to get a bargain!
