1. That is a terrific looking bass, I've not seen that finish before. I'm waiting to confirm the sale of a couple of items that should be done and dusted in a couple of weeks. If you've still got this is a couple of weeks time PM me and I may have this off you. I travel down to Corsham about once a month so could easily collect.

2. ****SOLD**** FS/FT My Boss ME-50B multi effects pedal. I'm guessing most people will be aware of these pedals. Just about every sound imaginable and some others! It's in good condition, been regularly gigged, about 18 months old but in perfect working order. I've simply never really needed such a diverse range of sounds, I've used it for the deep compression, occasional wah-wah and to tune up, so it's been drastically underused tbf! I'd like £120.00. I'm based in Northants and would rather not have to post this if possible, although I do have the original box and packaging, but I'm guessing it will be expensive to post!

3. For sale is my Ibanez Artcore AGB200, I've really enjoyed playing this Bass and have used it as my main guitar on and off for about 18 months. It's dead comfortable to play, good looking and has a nice full sound. It's only a 30" scale, but feels much bigger. I'm selling it now as I'm using it less and less, my band are doing more songs better suited to a crunchier fender sound and I need to raise funds for some other things I've got my eye on.

There is a slight dink on the head in between the tuners (see picture) and a few scratches as a result of a heavy plectrum, but otherwise it still looks and sounds good. I'd like £225.00, but make me an offer!

These are the specs and this is what Guitarist choice said about this guitar;

Individually, or with both pickups working at the same time, this has a surprisingly sold and fully rounded sound with great note definition."
"Having a set neck construction increases the sustaining properties of the bass and the shorter scale length ensures a tight clean delivery."

"A surprisingly gutsy little beast that seems ready to rock at every opportunity."
We like: Classic-style design; super finish; manly sounds.
We dislike: Shame there's no case or gig bag.
Verdict: This Artcore bass is well priced, nice made and sounds good - you should try one

4. I've an Ashdown ABM 115 deep cab for sale. Just over a year old but only been gigged about 10 times. It's a bit surpless to requirements which is why I'm moving it on but it's a solid bit of kit. It delivers a real thumping bottom end and I originally bought it to add a bit of umpf to my Ashdown Evo III 210t, which it does and more. It has a few minor blemishes but nothing serious. I'm looking for £190 and will drop it off within reason as I do a few miles for work.

5. That is a terrific Bass! I play a 78' American Mustang myself and would never dream of selling. Mine is the middle one in the picture in three tone sunburst with the black pick guard. I'd have to say that £700 is a steal, especially given the condition which looks pretty imaculate. I'll be staggered if no one buys this! I'd have it myself in a hot minute if I had the cash. Good luck with the sale!

6. I've got an ABM 210t combo and added an ABM 115 deep cab thinking it would give me the best outcome. However what I found was the 115 tended to make the sound just a bit muddy no matter what I did. I then found a Mag 210 cab on eBay for a steal and experimented with that. The sound is much better, so much so that I'm thinking I'll sell my 115 deep cab and go the whole hog and get a 410. But in answer to the question, I've encountered no problems having a mag cabinet powered by an ABM.

7. I was looking round my local guitar shop and came across a G&L SB-2 tribute bass. I wasn't really aware of these guitars, but the guy in the shop gave me the potted history of the company and how they were the 'true' heir to the Fender name, most of which is lost on me to be honest. I'm not about to sold on reputation, however I was tempted enough to plug it in and have a whirl and I have to say I bloody loved it. I know this model is put together in Indonesia using American parts, but my budget is never going to stretch to an American made model. I'm curious as to what other peoples opinions are, does anybody own one, what do you think?

8. I've an Ashdown Lomenzo
Bass Hyper Drive pedal that's never been used that i asked for for christmas and then never used. I was gonna stick it on
eBay, they retail at about £70 but thought I'd post it on here first. I'll accept any sensible offer, £50? I'd also consider a part exchange, I'm on the lookout for a 2x10 bass cab (preferably Ashdown to match existing, but will consider others) 8ohms 250 - 300 watts, I need something compact for smaller venues that still has plenty of punch.

Thanks

9. They weren't original in the first place! I bought the new ones online that claimed to be 'compatible' with a Mustang Bass, but that has proved not to be genuine. You wouldn't have a link to the area of the Fender website you're referring to, that has to at least be worth a try. Thanks.

10. I bought some replacement saddles for my 70's Fender Mustang Bass, however the screws are nowhere near long enough and I can't properly adjust the length to stop tuning issues high up the neck. Does anyone know of a reputable stockist where I can get vintage Fender parts?

11. Yes mate, www.facebook.com/theretrouk . Be good to meet up at Weldonfest, I can pick your brains for some contact names for landlords etc, and likewise you can do the same, although it does seem you're playing the exact same circuit as us. I don't know about you but our current favorite gigs are The Green Dragon in Higham, The Cardigan Arms in Corby and The Nags Head in Harborough, you can pretty much always guarantee a good, appreciative audience at these venues. We definitely need some contact names in Northampton though, I seem to be banging my head against a brick wall getting us a gig in that town!

Osiris, glad to hear you're keeping alive those old Ringstead traditions of inter family relations! Keep checking our facebook page for gig info and definitely come and introduce yourself if you catch us playing.

12. Hi BassTractor, I am happy mate. As I said on another thread somewhere, the 215 combo is a little quiet by itself, but sat on top of the 115 it sounds wicked. It took an effort to work out the best set up in tandem with the me-50b, but well worth it, punchy and bassy and well balanced. Obviously I bought the combo first before adding the stand alone cab, and if was starting again I'd probably have separates for portability. But apart from that I'm very happy.
