1. Hi All,

This awesome sounding TechSoundsystems 6x10, 2100 watt @6 ohms is a great cab and in great condition. I have not gigged it since I purchased it from Steve Soar on this forum (who really looked after it well and great guy) as it has been in my living room.

Neo Dynamic speakers, this is one excellent very high quality German sounding cabs, that have the best quality void free birch ply construction. It has an adjustable horn with settings from hard to soft and a high quality Cire tweeter.

No rips or on carpeting, only a slight mild cure depression on top of the grill, but this is hardly noticeable only with light shining on it otherwise in excellent working and cosmetic condition.

It weighs 661bs (30 is KG) and comes with fully functional wheels to make it easier to move around

Works great with Mark bass, Tc 750 or Genz Benz Streamliner 900 bass amps.

I'm afraid collection only from Bradford, West Yorkshire (10 miles from Leeds)

    Thanks

    Kalim

For sale is my Leones VF5 Headless Bass with LEDs. I purchased this here on this site from RSbassman, who had it custom made and sent over from Indonesia. It came with the added customs duty/tax charges. The cost of this was under £2000, including all costs. No offers at this ridiculously low price, please, thanks.

I purchased it in December 2021 and have only played it very little, as I just don't get the time to play anymore due to a change of circumstances and work commitments. It just seems a waste to have it sat in its case. It really is a fantastic sounding and well-made custom instrument.  Another thing about this bass is that it is very stable and the 35-inch scale provides really deep, growly bass but the pickups are just exceptional.  The frets have no wear, and the bass is in excellent condition with only a small feint ding in the back.

    Here is the rundown:

  4. Just collected a Tech Soundsystems 6x10 cab yesterday from Steve. The condition of the cab was as described and I have already played through it and nearly brought the house down 😉 with 2 different amps, a TC RH 750 (surprisingly very powerful and a Blackstar U700 Elite) both sounded powerful and just as good.

Must say, it was a real pleasure dealing with Steve, a really down to earth guy with excellent communications, not to mention the informative discussions around bass in general were great.

The transaction was quick and hassle free and an overall pleasure.

    Cheers

  5. Hi All,

Selling up as not playing much bass anymore.

I am absolutely not taking any offers on this cab, and if you were to play through it, you would know what I mean!

I have for sale a fantastic Techsoundsystems Neodynamic 210 XT cab, which is 4 ohm and 700 watts (goes down to 37 Hz) £450. It was well worth it.

Handles 5 strings, no problem. It weighs about 15kg but is very solid.

When I contacted Thomas Eich and mentioned to me that these were some of the best speakers he'd made at the time, I could fully understand.

The speakers have not been abused and is in excellent cosmetic and working condition with no dents or tears. I look after my gear well.

This is a very high-quality cab that uses high-quality components, Ciare Italian tweeter and hi-fi-quality wiring. I found this out from our respected Dood many moons ago.

The TechsoundSystems cab sounds very smooth but dynamic.

I have another cab with these special speakers, but with a 6x10 cab I bought off Steve Soar on Basschat. That's how much I like/d these cabs.

I found some information on the net on this cab, which is as follows:

Congratulations! Tech Soundsystem’s makes great cabs! I used to use SWR cabs (first one, the Goliath III 4x10 and after that, 2 Gol. III 2x10 Jr's) for almost 8 years, but I was curious about the NEO hype. So, I got a used Tech Soundsystem’s 210 XT and realised it was WAY better than SWR. I immediately sold the SWR cabs. The 210XT outperforms 2 Gol. Jr.'s at ease. It's better in reproducing a low B, is louder, can handle 700 watt RMS, is lighter (+/-19KG/42LBS) and I now don't have trouble hearing myself in the band.
The sound is modern and well-balanced.

I'm very curious about the new Tec Amp cabs (http://www.tec-amp.com/). It's the same company but got a new name. Too bad they don't have the "XT" versions anymore, but the good news is the new cabs are a bit cheaper than the older ones.
I'm convinced the new product line will sound (at least) as good as the previous."

    Pics to follow.

  6. Today, I collected a dream bass; a Leones Caper VF5 Headless Bass (35.5 inch multiscale, single cut, custom build bass) from RSbassman.

As soon as I got it into my hands, its was just perfect, the scale, feel and above the sound once I got it home and through the amp and speakers, absolutely awesome, very happy indeed. The bass is a steal at the price.

Anyway, Roy was an absolute gentleman, well spoken and he looks after his gear really well as the bass is mint condition as described, a very passionate bass man indeed.

Transaction was really hassle free and we had a good chat about all things bass before I headed off to catch my train on time.

I also, learned some key bass amp features from this highly experienced musician, coupled with  some good general advice to boot.

    In a word - Perfect!

  7. Genz Benz Streamliner 900!

This is a brilliant Bass Amp due to having a great defined, articulate sound that is great for many styles of bass playing and music.

This is a reluctant sale. I am selling due needing the cash at present.

I have used it for around 5-6 hours since buying it and replaced with new tubes (exact make and model, avoiding cheap imitation tubes). To my ears, the unit sounds as though the notes have more girth and dynamics now - Sounds fantastic.

I bought this off Dog House (a great guy to on this forum who had this from new and only used it for a few rehearsals and comes with box and manual and is in mint working and cosmetic condition and yes, the blue light is working.

    Price £395 + P&P £20 - no trades please

    Payment via Paypal

  8. I Just recently bought of Mick the Genz Benz Streamliner 900, a great guy to do business, with very polite and had a good chat about bass in general.

Mick kept me informed throughout right up until delivery and as his description, the product was in excellent cosmetic and working condition and sent perfectly packaged on next day delivery, what more could you ask or need I say more?

    Cheers Mate!

  10. Hi,

Can someone please give some advice. I am in the process of changing the 15inch Speaker in my TC gb250 Combo to a Celestion BN15-300S NEO Magnet Bass Guitar Speaker 15" it has the same eight holes for the screws so it should fit but would like to know if this 300 watt 4ohm speaker would be OK to make this change or are there any other factors that I would need to take in account. The combo has a 250 watt digital amp.
