  1. Like I said...anyone interested can email me for photos, unless anyone has any help/advise me on enabling photos on my HTC wildfire phone??
  2. Hi bassworld!! A very, very sad & reluctant (but much needed) sale hear, so I want it to go to a very good home! Here's the spec: Warwick thumb, bolt on six string bass, broadneck model (now only available as a custom shop option) Contoured Ovancol body & ovancol neck, thick slab of a Wenge fingerboard with classic bell brass frets & ajust-a-nut. Two active MEC humbuckers pump out a vast array of mega tones controlled by a push/pull, passive/active volume knob & seperate control for each pickup. Warwick premium rock bag, user kit, manual & straplocks included. I purchased this bass from Electro Music in doncaster (it was a straight trade for my Fender 62 p-bass, wish i hadnt sumtimes, not cos the Warwick is bad, far from it,it's just cos I wish I still had the 62!) In 2007, I've never giged it & it has had a regular polish with the the Warwick beezwax supplied. The last one I saw for sale new was around £2600 & would be in excess of this now as a custom shop option only. I am asking for offers around £1600. Please e-mail me @ [email protected] for photos as I can't attach any on this Android phone.
  3. Guys...I have 5 Fenders, but my main giging bass is my Yam BB414 in white, it cost £220 new 3years ago & has never let me down, its not that I'm scarred to gig the Fenders, I did prior to the Yam, its the sound, range, projection, weight & the jazz like fast neck that I now can't gig without it! I'm hooked!
  4. Thanks for the welcome guys! Yes over the years some out of hours private work & buying, fixing up & selling on has allowed me to build up a good collection, unfortunately I'm between job now & the warwick & hagstrom will have to be sold! Sobsob!)+:
  5. Hi all in the universe of bass! I'm woodie69 aka basstree! I've been playing bass from the age of 12, so that's 30 years fingering the steel! I've only been playing in a band for the past 10years tho, mainly a mix of rock & blues covers, the band is called "Highway Tracks"I'm a trained & experienced horticulturalist for a living, specialising in trees, so the mixture of trees & bass (hence the name basstree!) Is a serious combination, which leads to my next subject...gear! List as follows: Overwater Progress 7string, Overwater Progress 6string fretless, Warwick Thumb bolt on 6string broadneck, Wav 4 eub, Crafter 5string electro accoustic( strung e to c), Fender American 1997 p-bass, Fender American 2001 fretless jazz, Fender American 2008 fretted jazz, s1 switching, Fender Mexican 1995 jazz, Squier Tele bass, Squier affinity p-bass,modified. Unbranded p-bass customized/modified, Tokai t-bird, Yamaha bb404, Hagstrom hb-8string re issue, Hartke 1200 kickback 15 combo& Trace Elliot 725 combo. Did I forget anything?? Well maybe a few guitars, but this is a bass forum! Lol. (+;
