hi there, I'm new to the forum and recently purchased a Trace Elliot GP12 SMX that is on the work bench. I need a 12 way rotary switch for the high frequency volume. This is positioned on the rear panel of the amp head. My question is, do I need a Non-shorting or a shorting switch Any help would be appreciated. Thanks Brian
