1. true - and I've known some very cool drummers in my time.. i retract the slur!
2. almost as rude as 'dr****r'? I'm an ex classical guitarist, but I have seen the light!
3. go back to 'g****r'? Seriously - no way, I've been there, but it's not the same... You'd miss those low tones!
4. Hi Jezzaboy I play every day as well - somehow I find it impossible to walk past the bass and not pick it up and just play a little. Sometimes just praticing rhythms, and sometimes songs I'm working on. Sometimes just play with the many controls on the amp to work out what they do! I've always wanted a Thumb, it's a beautiful thing, and it's been calling for a long time! I'm very lucky
5. time to change for something a bit louder! This Ashdown 2x250w Superfly head amp is my first bass amp and is a fantastic performer. More info at: http://www.ashdownmu...n=legacy&ID=156 This amp is no longer available, but is a bit of a classic. No marks, scratches or damage, and original carrying case. £207.87?
6. Does anyone have any advice on which strings would be good on a Warwick thumb B.O. to replace my (now very played!) Warwick originals?
7. Just saying hello... After mucking about with various instruments for years (mostly highly-strung orchestral instruments!) I've finally found out how amazing bass playing is. I'm taking lessons every week, and my Warwick Thumb is sitting in the corner constantly inviting me to play... I'm interested... how much time do people on here play their bass each day/week? How do you spend your playing time? How much time do you spend practice vs. playing?
