Hello, I'm looking to buy my first acoustic bass for a project i'm going to be working on. I can afford at a max of £400 and not really a penny more. I have considered the Hofner HA-B03 [url="http://www.guitarguitar.co.uk/bass_guitars_detail.asp?stock=10012110020429"][b][color=#3b5998]Takamine EGB2S-N[/color][/b][/url] and the Warwic Alien (basic) Any other good bass's worth looking at for that money? Can anyone recomend ? I alsio have to be able to buy it so obsolite models arent much good at the moment..... Thanks Ned

I have 25 years gigging and occasional studio experience, playing a mixture of stuff but specifically Blues, Blues Rock, Folk Rock, Celidh, Punk cover, Indie, Ska and a bit of jazz for good measure. Would like to be playing good own material as i enjoy arrangement etc. Realizing that covers is often bread and butter I would consider the right sort of covers band. Happy to travel to Bradford, Leeds, Halifax, Huddersfield, Colne, Keighley plus a bit more for rehearsals.I have my own gear and car and driving licence. I until recently played with John Herring from Salford but left due to personal reasons. This is a pretty dodgy video of me playing bass at the last gig I did nwith him.
