  1. As a [i]practice[/i] amp, my MB112 (the old one) is pretty much perfect. It was just what I was looking for: lightweight, headphones out, line in for MP3s. I've had no problems with it, but then again it hasn't been out of the spare room, and I haven't tried the DI.

    I figured it would be good for small gigs, like you have, but I have yet to take that step...

    That's pretty much how I define musicality. I think guys like Lemmy and JJ Burnel who play with passion and have carved out their own sound are way more musical than interchangeable, flashy, speed typists. You know who they are.

    Back to the main question. I'll consider myself a bass player after I gig for the first time. Right now I feel a bit of an impostor.
