  1. I would like to sell my 1991 Gibson Les Paul Special bass. It has Bartolini dual coil pick-ups and active electronics. Recently been professionally set-up. It's in very good condition and comes with original hard-case which is fully functional but has seen some action. Looking for £700 Please call 07952 994 627 if you're interested. Its in central London.

  3. I want to sell this guitar so I can buy a Gibson Thunderbird so I will do a straight swop for a Gibson Thunderbird from the same era - early 90s. Alternatively, £900 and its yours. The LP Bass with its Bartolini active electronics, sounds amazing. Even better than a Gibson Thunderbird which in my opinion, is pretty much the best sounding bass ever made, or it was until I owned the LP Bass. Trouble is I dont like the neck. I much prefer the neck on the Thunderbird. The Neck on the LP is more lie the neck on a Fender Precision. The sound from this guitar in NOTHING like a precision. I own a precision as my backup guitar and it sounds like a cheap piece of crap by comparison. The LP is in very good condition. It has just been professionally setup by Tim Marten on Denmark Street and it comes with its original Gibson hardcase which is certainly strucuraly sound and very serviceable but a little shabby. email me at [email protected] if you are interested. thanks ed
