1. Just wondering what sort of ball park I would be looking at for a 2009 Ibanez SR500 Left handed if I were to sell it? Got to reduce the amount of kit i've got at uni and 2 basses, 2 guitars and 3 amps is taking up a bit too much room, so i'm intending to sell most of them. Thanks, Kiwi
2.
I don't see the difference between putting some sort of pad between your bass and amp, and turning the volume down on your bass?
Some of the stuff i'm playing with my band requires variation in volume with the volume control. to get it to not clip solidly the volume has to be on 1.
3. Yeah its an active bass, the preamp seems to run a tad on the hot side, i think ive got most of those components on my desk somewhere. Alternatively would leaving one of these in on mode permanently do the job? : http://www.ehx.com/products/signal-pad
4. OK this being my first post, I will say hi to all . Just recently bought a Marshall MB30 to use with my Ibanez SR500 while i'm at uni, and i've encountered an issue. It doesn't have a -10dB pad, and hence i can't put my bass's volume above 50% without it solid peaking. Are there any stomp boxes around which could effectively enact that -10dB pad, or is there a way of making my own? Kiwi
