1. the bass stevie sent me is totally f'ed- wont intonate, string spacing rubbish, huge nut, bridge one cm to low, 30 holes in the body where he obviously couldnt fit a scratchplate properly, scratchplate looks like pick up holes were cut with a chain saw, neck set wrong, pickups squire pickups and not japanese fenders, a total botch job that will cost me over 1 hundred quid to make nice. thanks for not returning my calls all messages too ...

  2. Hi to all- BASSically, It's superb for the money, perfect for someone wanting a great first 5 stringer with some quality added . Quality features including active pre-amp circuitry, a pickup blend control, 3-band tone controls, and a slap switch.

The ebonol neck is probably one of the best feeling necks on a Squire I have felt and imho its one of the best basses i have played by Squire- up there with the CV's and VM's In terms of build quality and features. Nice high mass bridge and silky smooth frets. Lovely neck profile, also many tones are available and I was pleasantly surprised with the pick ups range too.

I can vouch that it is pristine and set up very nicely. I just really wont be using her as much as my other basses it as i bought it impulsively thinking I could use her in a few songs in our band play - the old bassist wrote few tunes on a 5 and we have ditched those tunes now, and to be honest I am a 4 stringer at heart...GAS written all over it !!! 4. After sending Stevie Dewar payment for a bass 13 days ago, I still have not recieved the bass and he has ignored a dozen text messages, phone calls and facebook messages asking for any information regarding the bass an has actually hung up whilst i have actually rang him.

I have asked him for the city link delivery tracking number so i can arrange to take a day off work in order to be around to pick the bass up and he has ignored my requests- reporting him to mods and suggest you avoid this guy like the plague- rude, full of sh1t and not to be trusted.

  5. Sent Stevie money for his black p bass 2 weeks ago- Still no bass, and is now he has lied to me about the bass being collected, refused to give me a supposed tracking number city link gave him. Rang city link- gave them my postcode and lo and behold no such record exists. apparently it was meant to be sent to me lat tuesday then he last told me the bass had been collected on friday and would be here by this tuesday- not here. This does not add up....

  6. This guy is a liar, frausdster and downright see you next tuesday... he took payment for the bass mentioned above 2 weeks ago and even told me it had been collected by city link for delivery but lied, as i rang city link and they have no record of delivery at all. have reported him to mods and police and am awaiting the situation being resolved
